so looking at the trailer a few times im GUESSING her moveset is B: gravity well, draws items/reflects projectiles (2:07) B>: send luma attacking forward (1:41) B^: star cannon-ish upwards dash (2:06) BV: summon luma (1:39) jabs: wand swing, wand swing, endless spinning like kirby's infinite jabs/luma punches+kicks+spins (1:41) OR 3-hit combo (1:48) dash: swoops down near the ground and comes back up (1:55) Uair: backflips, feet expel starry spark stuff (2:18) Ftilt: luma expels starbits? (1:45) Dair: ring appears under her feet (2:02)/luma kicks downward (1:52) Ftilt: wand swing/luma bounces forward and attacks (1:54) Utilt: ring flies up/luma flipkicks? (2:01) Dtilt: swings around low and hits both sides? (2:00) Fsmash: summons a little galaxy or black hole(?) and attacks forward/luma shoulder bashes forward (1:43) Dsmash: swings around low and hits both sides? (2:00) Usmash: overhead swing/luma uppercut (2:18) at 1:41 the luma moves forward while she does what looks like ftilt, at 1:48 it looks like she turns around without the luma turning though it might not have ended its jab animation, at 1:52 the luma returns to her while she's grabbed so they might have a limited tether range, at 2:00 the luma seems attached to her and improves her dsmash/tilt, at 2:07 the luma spins when she uses her gravity well, at 2:08 the luma jumps while she's throwing, at 2:17 she makes the luma move left while in the middle of her throw animation, and at 2:24 the luma returns which might be a taunt? its really weird because it shows the luma can be "attached" to her, possibly has a limited range, and has some form of control; it moves left at 2:17 but then when she jumps to uair it stays on the ground (but the scene with donkey kong shows that the lumas have aerial recognition and it jumps when she's throwing the shell) it does the attacks rosa performs but it doesnt seem like it mimics her movements, maybe she has to hold down the b button to control it? or maybe the gravity well is actually her shield and her neutral b is the luma control button (hold b, move left/right to move luma) idk

I have to be honest, I really wasn't expecting Rosalina :v: She looks pretty interesting though, I look forward to trying her out.

Rip Bowser Jr. Rip Toad Rip Paper Mario Rip Waluigi Rip Starfy None of the polls have even requested Rosalina as being a new wanted newcomer. It was always Bowser Jr/ Toad followed by Waluigi and Paper Mario. I hope Nintendo does DLC for Smash 4 or I'm gonna be pissed they wasted a slot for a big series on small requested Mario Character. Rosalina is about as important as King Boo or Petey Pirahana in terms of relevance. So far I was impressed with Sonic and Megaman, then Nintendo's creativity with including Wii Fit Trainer and Villager, after those reveals its been more disappointment. Toon Link returns as a smaller, faster clone of Link, Mario is still using the Fluud despite the fact they could have given him a new move from Super Mario Galaxy. Then they rub it in by not giving Luigi his vacuum cleaner and keeping Peach's Toad shield. I'm expecting Captain Dorf to return too if they didn't even touch Toon Link's move set that much.

I knew 77 posts meant a new character reveal. I'm not big on the hype for Rosalina, I was kind of hoping for a non-Mario rep to show up, but she does look good nonetheless. Also, I'm kind of glad I didn't watch that direct live, or I would have shit myself hoping for Kirby's Air Ride 2 :v:

I'm not super hyped for Rosalina but she's a good character and her dynamic is interesting, if looking a little boring to me from what little we saw in the trailer. She seems a bit slow. I think the only problem with it is that [I]we're running out of new character slots[/I] and we've still got plenty more nothing too much to worry about [I]but every character who isn't little mac or isaac is one slot closer to despair[/I] so hopefully we get more reveals soon. Also, blue scarf Link looks really cool.

The problem with Rosalina is not Rosalina herself. Rosalina is cool, and her mechanic is cool. She will be fun to play as. But who was excited for her? Would you be heartbroken if she didn't make it in? I'll be heartbroken if a Golden Sun rep doesn't make it in and that's highly likely. But goddamn Rosalina makes it in and Little Mac is still only a possibility? Come on. Rosalina has zero hype surrounding her and I can't really get excited for her. And I like Rosalina, I really do.

She was one of my "big four" hoped-for newcomers: her, Little Mac (still probably a shoo-in), CommanderVideo (not likely), and Scout (yeah, not happening.)

I really didn't like galaxy or rosalina, but her game play looks very interesting. I think she'll turn out to be a fun character despite how much I dislike her series and how much I'd rather have other characters make it in.

Lumas are adorable. That's all I need to want to play as Rosalina. Plus the whole thing with Kirby, Rainbow Road, and Mario Kart to tie in Rosalina & Luma was pretty cool.

What is up with Rosalina and nintendo recently? Putting her in recent mario game, sure why not, taking a brawl newcomer slot for her? Why? Is she really that popular a character? Why didn't Daisy get a unique character in melee? At least she has a really interesting mechanic with the star, lumm, thing.

Rosalina's technically brand-new to the Smash Bros roster like the other new challengers and thus the video and stuff, and the only exception to this so far is Sonic.
