This is really interesting

So I was right to say she'd control like Ms. Fortune.
Hard punch is how you control Fortune's head, smash moves to control Luma. Down+B is probably to recall Luma like how Olimar recalls the pikmin.
I do wonder how exactly Luma's mechanics will function. At what point will Luma stop following Rosalina and would need to be recalled before following her again? I'd presume not after every smash attack as that's a bit impractical to require the player to recall half of their character after using one of four moves. Also does this mean that it's impossible to attack with Luma while airborne? Could this mean that using the c-stick in midair would function as a way to attack with Luma? If so, what's that mean for people using other controllers that don't have a second analog stick.
So many questions.
reminds me of Ice Climbers strats in Melee. I was never good at Ice Climbers and I'll probably never be good at Rosy but they are super damn fun to watch at tournaments
I also have a long shot hope that if Snake returns that David Hayter voices him, I can sadly kinda understand Big Boss but Snake = Hayter
I played project M for the first time today. I have to say I am in love. They made MewTwo so good.
I actually really love Lucas' new moveset in it. The ability to over-charge your smash attacks with the neutral B charge move is super fun. As if the original Lucas' up-smash didn't have enough power, you can add even more punch to it. His new A attacks are also really cool, too.
Not to mention the badass commander uniform skin he was given. They did a really nice job with Project M.
all i want is kid icarus hades
didn't someone say that to get project m working all you need is an SD card if it's on the Wii U?
There are a lot of good NPCs in Kid Icarus Uprising that would make good assist trophies
Eggplant Wizard would be a good one, Magnus has already been mentioned, maybe even Hades or Medusa.

All you need is an sd card for the wii as well.

Once you got the files on the 2GB SD card, all you need to do is delete any custom stages you have (each save file has 3 basic stages pre-installed, delete those too).
Then you just go to the stage editor option and it'll work its magic.
If you're running it on the Wii U, I think you're suppose to insert the card after you start the game?
Its in the readme file on how to make it work on the Wii U
If only it weren't extremely implausible for a Crono assist trophy, since Chrono Trigger met much success on the SNES (and the DS port is the best version of the game if you don't mind the retranslation).
I'm beginning to think we probably won't see the entire roster revealed until release given how slow these updates have been lately. I still hope we'll get confirmations on returning characters like Meta Knight. He may have been horribly broken competitively wise in Brawl, but he's still a badass character and great addition to the game. A good set of nerfs would be welcome, though.
Speaking of possible returning characters, I still hope we see Mewtwo/Mega Mewtwo. I'm thinking its a strong possibility given how Sakurai commented "we're thinking about it" at that press release all those months back. I don't think he would just get fans' hopes up if he didn't mean it, given how popular the franchise is. If he wasn't considering it at all, it would have been better to say nothing about it, so I think the chances are still good. Mewtwo might be shown later rather than sooner as he may well be a late addition to the roster.
It'll probably be the same as Brawl's roster release trickle.
I done a thing for all four games, just for fun:

my idea was that there are two possibilities: conservative, where you drop snake, update ike/lucario/trainer, and add 3 newcomers + more reps from existing series + surprise characters like ROB/G&W/Wii Fit Trainer,
and ruthless, where you do all that and drop wario, replace lucas, and drop rob, with even more breathing room for new fighters.
I think if either of the MOTHER characters would go, it'd sooner be Ness than Lucas.

Poor Daisy fans. :v:
(Just upset myself that this probably means no Waluigi, but Rosalina & Luma combo moveset looks quite cool so I'm very much ok with her on that side.)
I already saw the Nerf Now strip when Jo first put it up, but the observatory straw is hilarious.

I think her Melee version had minor model changes as well. While the brawl one is just a recolour.

Yeah but not really the same thing as being her own character. Like if all Rosalina got was having her color scheme as a Peach costume.
Funny enough with that though they went backwards on the Daisy alt differences that was in melee. (Peach, Daisy)
Personally wouldn't mind an Alt Costume of her like there is that Male Wii Fit Trainer alt. (Complete with voice changes I would assume.)
here we go

Damn it XSFOX
Would be nice if alt costumes were more than just recolors in SSB4. More model changes

The Pikachu Hat Brigade has begun.

Which reminds me, I wonder if Zoroark will be the next Pokemon character.
I wouldn't be surprised if they cut a Kirby character or even Zero Suit Samus
I wouldn't be surprised if they cut a Kirby character
Please no. If they cut a Kirby character it'd probably end up being the triple D king, and I can't have that. :(
Zero Suit Samus doesn't even take up a slot though so I don't see why they would do that.
Prince Fluff reskin for Kirby please

doesn't sakurai voice Dedede? which kind of guarantees his return?

Yours shows the differences off better anyway. :v:

Totally agree on this. I know Brawl already did it to a extent with Wario, but Project M showed it can work pretty awesomely.
Wouldn't mind going further though like I said previously with Daisy. I know it's pretty much better to have a totally unique character but considering time restraints and effort, I would be ok with characters sharing similar enough skeletal structure and weapons being alternative "costumes" (Voices, Announcer shout included, etc) rather than them not being playable in any form at all because of the extra effort required to make a moveset and balance them.
Guess technically though what I'm talking about could be called a -complete- clone and seeing the reactions people have to clones, I can see this is probably not a popular idea, yet I would only like to see this if the alternative is not having the character at all.
Zero Suit Samus doesn't even take up a slot though so I don't see why they would do that.
What do you even mean by that? From a Technical standpoint ZSS is her own character, her existance takes pretty much the same effort in creating as any single character (or more in the balancing side because she's tied to Samus.)
I think it'd be a safe assumption that non-power suit samus will return based on Other M.
