I don't think it'll matter if I avoid looking at the site reveals. Precedent is that us europeans will get it late, so it'll probably be spoiled whether I try to or not.
oh shit i forgot all about that DAMN YOU REGION LOCK the wait for brawl was intolerable i hope it dosent take to long
I kinda see Chrom being revealed, then it will be King Dedede, Yoshi, and Little Mac.

I'm predicting Dedede reveal in January and Diddy Kong reveal February.
What do you gents think they'll do with the Past Stages this time around? I'd like them to bring back stages from all three games, personally. Maybe bring back one stage for each series that had a playable character in Brawl. Each series would get representation that way while also representing all three Smash games. Also, this would prevent them from having to bring back New Pork City, Rumble Falls, or 75m to give Earthbound and Donkey Kong representation.
I think they might ditch the melee stages sadly. They're very dated.
If Green Hill Zone doesn't return in some form, hell will probably break loose.
If Green Hill Zone doesn't return in some form, hell will probably break loose.
Windy Hill is probably its replacement- I didn't care much for GHZ anyway- in Smash and out.
Windy Hill is probably its replacement- I didn't care much for GHZ anyway- in Smash and out.
Fuck that, I want Casino Night Zone or Bingo Highway
So when do you guys think this thing's coming out? Probably a Fall/Winter release?
I think they might ditch the melee stages sadly. They're very dated.
They could maintain the layouts but give them a graphical facelift to match the hardware on the Wii U. With how much space they have available, I'd be surprised if they don't try to cram as much content as possible on the console version.
I think they might ditch the melee stages sadly. They're very dated.
Maybe they can re-make them?
If they would actually remake anything, put some N64 stages into that pile as well.
Windy Hill is probably its replacement- I didn't care much for GHZ anyway- in Smash and out.
The sonic fanbase is a volatile community. If they replace a Genesis Sonic stage with a modern era stage, there will be blood spilled.
The sonic fanbase is a volatile community. If they replace a Genesis Sonic stage with a modern era stage, there will be blood spilled.
So what you're saying is [sp]the Sonic community are rose-tinted retards?[/sp]
I know Green Hill Zone and it's brothers (Emerald Hill Zone, etc) are probably the most iconic stages to use but man I would rather they chose something else that was more interesting. Like older Sonic games wise for example off the top of my head I could see these being cool stages Sky Sanctuary, Chemical Plant, Casino/Carnival Night Zone.
The sonic fanbase is a volatile community. If they replace a Genesis Sonic stage with a modern era stage, there will be blood spilled.
Well, I'm a maverick- gimme a City Escape stage, with the GUN Truck as a stage hazard. Green Hill is overrated anyway.
The sonic fanbase is a volatile community. If they replace a Genesis Sonic stage with a modern era stage, there will be blood spilled.
Fuck retro nostalgia, there are plenty of grade A modern Sonic Games. Give me Rooftop Run, that'll be fine.
I'd rather have Silent Hill than Green Hill. harry mason and heather 4 ssb4 make it happen [sp]Yeah I know it wouldn't work, I'm just having fun.[/sp]
I hope to god they remake them. It'd be nice coming back to an updated Hyrule Castle or that other starfox map.
I still vouch for Chemical Plant Zone as a stage. Iconic enough, but also interesting enough.
Booker DeWitt 4 Smash 4. [sp]Semi joking[/sp]
Why not a valve property? Left 4 Dead 4 Smash 4
So what you're saying is [sp]the Sonic community are rose-tinted retards?[/sp]
Pretty much, especially since this is considered a 'controversial topic' in the community: Warning: very cringe worthy.
Why not a valve property? Left 4 Dead 4 Smash 4
Bubsy or bust!

Flying Battery Zone for life.
if they add carnival night zone or something similar I want casino park as a music option
Booker DeWitt 4 Smash 4. [sp]Semi joking[/sp]
His intro will be him looking at three bells, followed by "WAIT A MINUTE THAT CARD" and then pulls out the smash bros invitation and stares at it for 5 hours
Casino Night Zone best Sonic song Also Rooftop Run Modern
Going off of my previous post about Past Stages, this is what would happen in my world: * Again, Past stages will be brought back from all three Smash games. Each series that had a playable character in Brawl will receive a past stage from a previous game. R.O.B. didn't have a stage, so he's out. Snake and Sonic don't get their stages back because they're third party. * Seeing as there's an uneven amount of stages, not every game will get an equal amount. Seeing as SSB64 has very few stages to choose from, it gets five stages while Melee and Brawl get six. Super Smash Bros.: Meta Crystal (N64) Super Mario Bros.: Delfino Plaza (Brawl) Donkey Kong: Kongo Jungle (N64) The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Castle (N64) Kirby: Dream Land (N64) Pokémon: Pokemon Stadium (Melee) Metroid: Brinstar (Melee) Yoshi's Island: Yoshi's Island (Melee) Starfox: Sector Z (N64) F-Zero: Mute City (Melee) Fire Emblem: Castle Siege (Brawl) Mother: Onett (Melee) Pikmin: Distant Planet (Brawl) WarioWare: WarioWare, Inc. (Brawl) Ice Climbers: The Summit (Brawl) Game and Watch: Flat Zone (Melee) Kid Icarus: Skyworld (Brawl)
