I don't know where exactly to post this, but can anyone help me with the sensitivity on the Classic Controller Pro? It started about today, whenever I tap a button, even in the slightest, it acts as if I'm pressing a button twice. Whenever I tapped the A button to go to the Solo menu, it would direct me immediately to training mode. Every time I try to run with a character, they stop about a second after they start running. If anyone knows how to fix this, I would be most grateful.
Also, if I'm not posting this in the right thread/section, can someone direct me as to where to post it?
I'm fairly sure there's not an option in the game that would affect that. It might be your controller. Does this happen on other games, or is it just Smash Bros.?
I recorded from the Dolphin 4.2 Emulator using FRAPS. I was playing the game with a PS4 controller too.
Smash Bros. is impossible to play with a keyboard. I learned this when I tried playing the game on my old PC.
Personally, I'm hoping for Mewtwo with a new moveset.
Sadly I think it might be Lucario in Smash again due to his Mega form.
Sadly I think it might be Lucario in Smash again due to his Mega form.
Mewtwo has two mega forms and a movie starring them. If mega forms are the deciding factor it's Lucario who falls short.

I actually hope that both get in, just to end the discussion who of the two gets in or not.
The only move that they had in common was their B neutral anyway.
We already have too many Pokemon as it is.

I'd really love to know how one confirmed Pokemon rep is too many.

That doesn't mean Mewtwo won't be in it, he seems to be one of the most demanded characters for SSB4. I wonder how they would utilize both of his alternate forms.

I'm talking about Smash Bros in general.
I find pokemon really overrepresented given that the vast majority of them have roughly the same amount of character and gameplay purpose as the gravity gun from HL2.
I'm talking about Smash Bros in general.
But no one else was talking about that
But no one else was talking about that
How is that relevant? Am I not allowed to talk about other things?
Regardless, the subject was related to having both Mewtwo and Lucario join the fray along with all of the other Pokemon, assuming Jigglypuff and Pokemon Trainer make a return (I don't see why they wouldn't, especially Jigglypuff, and I doubt they'd can Pokemon Trainer for the sake of adding Lucario/Mewtwo) would be 5 Pokemon characters. 4 is already questionable compared to other franchises, 5 is just overkill. Especially when both Lucario and Mewtwo are bound to play similarly anyway.
I honestly hope they don't get rid of Pokemon Trainer.
Because y'know. Pokemon Trainers are a staple to the entire series. Besides Pikachu, a Pokemon Trainer is probably the next best representative. Plus Ivysaur is a hoot to play as. (if they even keep the same Protag or Pokemon should he make a return, for that matter.)

Nothing is overkill as this point, they already proved that they well add more then just 4 for a franchise.

I didn't try to state that it wouldn't happen, I was merely expressing my opinion by saying I don't want it to. There are many other characters I would welcome more than another Pokemon.
nah I'm down with keychain: there are a lot of pokemon and while they're neat and have their own movesets very clearly defined and appeal to the kids, I'd rather see more obscure/out-of-left-field fighters any day of the week.
Of course there will be a high chance of overflow of Pokemon in a Smash Bros game
It's one of the most popular titles out there, so they're going to abuse it
It's like saying there's too many Mario characters in Smash Bros

Mario is the core franchise of both Smash Brothers and Nintendo, that's not nearly as far-fetched.

My point is they try to appeal to younger audiences, and what's better than Pokemon and Mario for that?
Honestly I don't know many youngsters that have not heard of or play Pokemon, even the newer generations.
I'm not trying to say I want an overflow of Pokemon, but I am saying it is bound to happen at some point or another just because of how marketing works.

In that case, lets put Little Mac in as a playable fighter.

Are we still discussing obscure and out of left character ideas?
I hope they better balance out the amount of stages this time around. I was going through My Music in Brawl and realized that Mario had waaay too many stages compared to others. I know he's Nintendo's biggest series, but still. Mario had five new stages while Yoshi's Island, Kirby, Star Fox, and Earthbound only got one. Even Melee had a better ratio than that.

I'd much rather they focus on adding characters based upon the actual quality of the characters than anything else.
What do you guys think of Miis in Smash Bros 4? Do you think its the worst idea ever?
Just make a garbage can character, and every time it attacks, small statues of various little-known and failed Nintendo characters fly out of it.
Which reminds me, I hope Mr. Game & Watch is back.
He was my main. :c
What do you guys think of Miis in Smash Bros 4? Do you think its the worst idea ever?
I say give Miis like 3 different kinds of playstyles. Light, medium, and heavy, just like in Mario Kart Wii. Depending on the Mii's customization settings will determine which playstyle they have.

please
Not sure how much flak I'll get for saying this, but I really don't want Miis included in the game at all. I feel like they're overused for how... useless they are, quite frankly.

I really don't see the appeal of Mii's at all. What would a Mii moveset bring to the game? Peach already has a golf club and tennis racquet, the Villager already has boxing gloves for a move, along with a bowling ball. Oh yea, and Ness has a baseball bat.
