Pretty much guaranteed, Dedede is Sakurai's character and I imagine was a lot of fun to voice act for
On that subject, I hope to fuck that they bring Alesia Glidewell back to do Samus's voice, a billion times better and more fitting to her character than Other M's Samus.
I can't believe that they had Jennifer Hale doing the grunts and yells for Samus in Metroid Prime, but for the one game that Samus actually talks, they get someone who sounds like they had a lobotomy.
I hope some of Dedede's attacks are sped up, or he gets more super armor frames, it's pretty damn hard hitting people with a lot of his attacks.

Don't get me wrong, when you land a hit with Dedede it's satisfying as hell but a lot of his attacks have so much windup that it's usually safer to just charge in and jab him real quick to interrupt him.

We got Toon Link but we didn't get Groose. Just think about it for a while and spiral into depression.
I think a toon Ganondorf would be pretty boss. Using an attack style with two swords like he does in Wind Waker.

Ms Hale also did a voiceover for the intro to Prime 1 as Samus but it was never used.

The best part is, this would make the greatest amount of sense. And then the next game, real Samus kills Smaus as the first boss to recover morph ball.
I'm satisfied. We expected the Dedede, we asked for the Dedede, so Sakurai gave us the Dedede.
The characters seem to be a lot more expressive in general this time around. I like it.

Speaking of Kirby, I really hope they rework his Final Smash to something a bit cooler. Cook Kirby looked awesome, but was highly underwhelming.

I think they could tone back on the fur on DeDeDe's coat. It looks a little noisy as it is now.
