It's all about Wario
Is he super good? I haven't used much of him.
It's all about Wario
I replaced 6 of the WarioWare songs, excluding WarioWare Inc. and WarioWare Medley, with Wario Land songs. The credits song from Wario Land 3, Greenhorn Ruins (Wario World), Mt. Lava Lava (Wario Land: Shake It), Escape from the Pyramid (Wario Land 4), Perfect! (Wario Land 2), Boss Battle (Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3). Only after writing this list up did I realize that I snagged one song from each of the main Wario Land titles v:v:v Fuck, I just like the Wario Land games a lot.
Anyone else want this?
I think Simon would be an interesting character to play as. His whip-based attacks would have delays, like in the games, and his specials could be the items.
I fucking love playing ganondorf in brawl. His attacks feels so god damned meaty.
I fucking love playing ganondorf in brawl. His attacks feels so god damned meaty.
His aerial A+Down is my favorite move in the game. It's so satisfying hitting people on the ground with it and shooting them upward.
His aerial A+Down is my favorite move in the game. It's so satisfying hitting people on the ground with it and shooting them upward.
Using it as a meteor smash might as well get me off.
So how does everyone feel about the victory themes I've always thought it was one of the cooler things about SSB, the way they play a clip from the character's game when they win. Cool that there's another outlet to pay homage to the games from which everything came. So, I think Wario and Mother need new ones. Ness's old one was good, they should just keep that, and give Lucas a snippet of the love theme. Wario should get the level clear music from Wario Land 2. Also, the Metroid, Donkey Kong, Yoshi and Ice Climber fanfares got completely butchered in Brawl. The Metroid one is too minimalist, the Donkey Kong one totally misses the point of both Donkey Kong Country and a victory theme and sounds like a christmas song, Yoshi's is similar, but also not in the right key, and also doesn't invoke feelings of success, and the Ice Climber one is off key, whileMelee's was perfect. I have to say, I love that they changed brawl's Zelda theme to something that made sense, and others, such as Kirby and Star Fox are just brilliant and perfectly fitting. What do you guys think? Maybe I'm crazy and no one else cares.
I'd have to listen to the victory themes to see if I agree with what you're saying. I'll get back to you on that. But I would like it if everyone got their own personal remix of their victory theme in the next game, kind of like Meta Knight in Brawl.

Just in case anyone had any doubts: SSB4 Footage confirmed for the Nintendo Direct

He told idiots to stop bothering him That doesn't mean anything about his opinion on SSB

http://nintendo3dsdaily.com/nintendo3dsnews/masahiro-sakurai-will-be-attending-e3/ I hope he shows up in the Nintendo Direct, too!
Sakurai comes out and announces Kid Icarus 2, says nothing on smash bros People with taste clap and cheer, those who don't complain forever (or till enough time passes and smash comes out)
Sakurai comes out and announces Kid Icarus 2, says nothing on smash bros People with taste clap and cheer, those who don't complain forever (or till enough time passes and smash comes out)
Kid Icarus 2 already exists in the form of "Of Myths and Monsters." :v: But yeah, I could see an Uprising 2 or something.
This is going to take up all of my time when it comes out... Especially the 3DS version. Mobile Smash Bros is going to be the death of me.
I just realized the 3DS version won't have a c-stick. That's gonna take some getting used to.
Sakurai said he won't make Uprising 2 He also said that he wouldn't make another smash bros yet here we are SOOOO
Sakurai comes out and announces Kid Icarus 2, says nothing on smash bros People with taste clap and cheer, those who don't complain forever (or till enough time passes and smash comes out)
The only way I'd be excited for a new Kid Icarus game if it took place on the Wii U and brought the gameplay back to something more like the original games. Rather than the sin and punishment-ish gameplay on uprising
The only way I'd be excited for a new Kid Icarus game if it took place on the Wii U and brought the gameplay back to something more like the original games. Rather than the sin and punishment-ish gameplay on uprising
Nah it's okay I like good games.
Nah it's okay I like good games.
Not everyone enjoys the completely on rails gameplay of Sin and Punishment though. I liked the sprawling dungeons from the older Kid Icarus games. The real problem is I can't think of any other way a Kid Icarus game could be played other than a 2D perspective or the style Uprising brought us.
I just realized the 3DS version won't have a c-stick. That's gonna take some getting used to.
I never use the c-stick so it won't affect me that much
So I assume that the slider on the 3DS would take the role of a normal stick on Smash Bros 3DS. I hope that doesn't mean you're gonna have to tap a direction for smash attacks, because it's either gonna mean it's going to be absurdly sensitive or you'll have to tap so roughly that you'll wear the slider down

Also remember that there's no Z button, so grabs will have to be mapped to a new key. The most elegant would be to map shield to L and grab to R, slider for movement, x/y for jumps, a/b for attack/special, and the d-pad for taunts. [editline]6th June 2013[/editline] If there's anything I'm curious about, it's how they plan to have the second screen be used.
probably just a map of the stage
I wonder how the Wii U Gamepad will factor into SSB4. Will there be a set of characters for the Gamepad, or will it be capable of altering the stage or nothing?
The worst... I think Lucario might be top tier in Project M.
lucario is godlike in Project M, because he's basically just Ryu
I wonder how the Wii U Gamepad will factor into SSB4. If they do, I would imagine it'd be a small gimmick for singleplayer use.
