they can put Miis in but not Waluigi
what is this
that big block of "info" seems fake. What gives it away is Metroid Fracture, pretty certain Nintendo is gonna keep Metroid shelved longer
Reggie's behaviour when asked about Metroid at the VGX makes me think they've got something planned, plus a new Metroid done in the style of Super will go a long way to rectify the damage caused by Other M.

i'm taking that with a lot of salt, last time we were told something exciting was to be revealed, we got Cranky Kong. Not that's a bad thing, just not particularly exciting.
Wait, hold on, I skipped over it the first time. A sequel to Seamen?

A sequel to fucking this?!
I've zero doubts that it's fake.

Well... they already did make a sequel.

If I recall correctly, Nintendo bought the rights or trademarked something with it a few months ago.
Here we go:

Seaman swims into battle!
Make it happen Nintendo.
didn't they say they made this for fun, to show what pokemon might look like in the future?
all these disagrees.
i was only going by what i read here http://www.gamesreviews.com/news/09/pokken-fighters-concept-pokemon-future/
im gonna break the mood a bit and ask this
anybody here plays ssbm competitively or semi competitively? or maybe ssb64/brawl?
I could never get my head around wave dashing or L cancelling, but I'd definitely be up for competitive brawl/SSB4. Just never had an opportunity.

When I first found out that L canceling wasn't in Brawl, I was disappointed, yet relieved. It was satisfying to consistently L cancel moves, but it required me to stay in practice. With Brawl, I can always come back to it and not feel like I suck. Wavedashing in Melee seemed practically impossible for me to implement during battle, it was just to difficult. I'm all for spacing and mind games, but damn, if only it was more easy to do! Needless to say I didn't miss it in Brawl. As for ssb4, I just want a bit faster, combo friendly game.

Pic of the day. Who's the girl next door, living in the haunted mansion? You'd better learn my name because it's…

Sakurai left this comment:

FYI, she's an Assist Trophy.
Well, this probably means they'll be ignoring Wario Land for the most part again.
*screams and smashes everything*
Holy fuck yes, best assist trophy
Amusing they revealed a Warioware assist before Wario.

This definitely means Waluigi is confirmed
This definitely means Waluigi is confirmed
If Waluigi was in, it wouldn't be under the Wario series.
The only other character from either Wario series who is remotely deserving is Captain Syrup.
Waluigi would be under the Mario Tennis series

Mario Sports and Party Spin-Offs in general suits him.
God damn Sakurai's been either crushing hopes or making dreams come true. Rosalina, Skull Kid and Ashley had incredibly vocal (but small) fanbases; Rosie was made a character and the others were assist trophies.
I'm predicting they add Tingle as playable. Both he and Rosalina;
-are popular (in Japan, which is the only region that matters when it comes to playable characters)
-have been playable (Rosalina in 3D World, Tingle has had a Balloon Fight spin-off and his own series of two games, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland)
-appeared in a lot of games.
Tingle pls no
Impa is the only character other than the four previous Zelda characters that's significant enough to the series to deserve being in the game. She's been around since the nes days and (an iteration of her) has appeared in 7 different games. Also, if they don't want to do the Zelda/Sheik thing again, she'd be a good way to preserve Sheik's playstyle.
I'd like to see a playable Goron, but it's probably not likely.

Not sure if Impa is a worthy character addition. She's not consistent enough, she's usually a very feeble old lady. I would quite of liked it if Toon Link had different moves from Link. He should've made use of his Megaton hammer, the leaf and the uncontrollable spin attack. But it seems he's still the same. I think Demise is most likely if anything.
I think Zelda is okay with the character selection right now, it doesn't need any additions. I'd rather expand Donkey Kong and Metroid.
I think one of Impa's stronger incarnations could work as a Sheik replacement.
No Tingle, yes Groose. Other than that I wouldn't mind seeing a Toon Zelda/Tetra addition but Zelda is pretty good for its lineup at the moment.

Well, if he had any hammer it'd be the Skull Hammer or the Magic Hammer (or the M.C. Hammer as it was called in Japan, lol) And I don't really see why Demise should be in the game when he's basically just an iteration of Ganondorf and he's only in one game.

For Donkey Kong I agree, but people expecting K. Rool when he's not in any of the new Donkey Kong Country games are likely to be disappointed. Dixie sure, Cranky maybe. Metroid, I'm not so sure about. I think having two different versions of Samus is fine. The series has always been minimal on character interaction (and I refuse to acknowledge Other M in this statement) and part of what makes Metroid great is isolation and exploring an unknown area, all revolving around Samus. If they do add another character, Ridley is really the only one applicable, and they don't seem to want to do that so I'm not holding my breath.
I made a *small list* of franchises and organised them by the amount of representation, excluding those with playable characters.
I still need to recgonize franchises with music, re-organize the franchises with non-character representation and possibly add playable franchises. But this should give a good idea of all the games included (or not) in Smash before you suggest 9 more fucking Pokemon.

since she won't be playable, i want a midna assist trophy

Golden Sun and Little Mac. That's all I care about. Many of those would make good assist trophies though. Also, X had a sequel on DSi.
