Just bring out the big guns already, Nintendo. Like not all of them but jesus show us Ridley or K. Rool or Little Mac or something Smash fans have been asking for them for like [I]over ten years[/I] [editline]22nd January 2014[/editline] also I completely understand if Ridley's not in this game (yeah size and whatever I still want him) but if K. Rool isn't I'll just be flabbergasted, there's like [I]no reason[/I] for him to not be playable at this point. Don't give me that "Nintendo's retired him" or "Rare owns him" bullshit he's the classic villain of a recurring Nintendo series that'd offer a far more interesting and unique playstyle than Dixie who no matter how hard you try to convince me otherwise I just don't see being too different from Diddy.

In the case someone doesn't know I'm just going point out that in Japan that Kid Icarus game is called Palutena's Mirror. On the screenshots themselves, it seems to be on the 3Ds version of Battlefield but at a [URL="http://i.imgur.com/2DQ0bIT.jpg"]different angle[/URL] that I believe we haven't seen before, as well as Mario's stance there is similar to what we've seen but not exact plus that Starman dealio. You could still say it's faked but that's quite the bit of effort put into it. [editline]22nd January 2014[/editline] It looks convincing enough to me so far and I wouldn't mind the character.

And, not to rain on your parade but you can't really say there is no reason not to add King K. Rool when you listed two such reasons yourself. They may not be reasons that you or I entirely agree with, but they are reasons none-the-less and it's not as if they have unlimited resources.

Nope. The charms in KI:U are both completely different and noticeably lower res.

Only player characters do, to make them stand out more and make the action more readable on the 3DS' smaller screen.

It's just kinda' odd that they haven't used him since the old days. Though the largest factor against his inclusion is still the limited resources available to the team. They can only implement so many characters and King K Rool is no longer as relevant as he once was.

Don't forget WFT was leaked before she was announced.
