Hades would be much better.
I'd take him as a boss fight (provided those come back), that would be the shit
Hades would be much better.
If we get a villain from Kid Icarus, I hope we get Medusa, since she is a recurring villain as well as a female villain.
Nope. The charms in KI:U are both completely different and noticeably lower res.
Never played KI:U, but her neutral stance does look more like something out of a model gallery.
If we were to have an Uprising rep, I would really like to see Magnus in as a heavy sword user, especially if we're not getting Ike back. At any rate, I'd love it if the whole Uprising crew did a running commentary on the GamePad/bottom screen or something on the Kid Icarus stage, or even the whole Smash cast throughout the game. Or even if Hades did just constantly snark at you as a boss.
Because the tornado is with Luigi now, who uses it better than Mario ever did. That being said, fuck Mario needs a new Down-B, the question is: what?
I've actually given this a lot of thought in the past, coming up with a Zelda/Sheik-style form change through his old Mario Tornado move between a FLUDD form and a caped standard form:
B Cape Mario: Fireball, as usual. FLUDD Mario: Brawl's Down-B, the spray nozzle. Now does slight damage like a fire flower, but no flinching. Side-B Cape Mario: Cape swing, as usual. FLUDD Mario: Turbo nozzle. Hold to charge up, release to dash forward like Jigglypuff's spin attack. Up-B Cape Mario: Super Jump, as usual. FLUDD Mario: Rocket nozzle. Hold to charge again, release to blast straight up with max height being much higher than Super Jump. Rather than damaging anyone on the ascent, anyone caught right below the blast gets meteored. Down-B Cape Mario: Melee's Down-B, the Mario Tornado. Like Melee, tap to use normally and mash to rise, but hold to trigger the little "vrrvrrvrr" transform cloud from SMW and bam: emerge as FLUDD Mario. Down aerial is back to Melee's old spin-kick. FLUDD Mario: FLUDD Tornado. Sunshine's spin-hover. Same tap/mash/hold mechanics, but rather than trapping enemies, will repel them a short distance. Same transform cloud back to cape Mario. Double jump Cape Mario: Galaxy's spin attack. Won't damage enemies, but will cause them to spin around him. FLUDD Mario: Hover nozzle. Like Peach's float, holding the button will make you hover for greater horizontal travel, but will only slowly ascend rather than a full jump. Final Smash Cape Mario: Mario Finale, like Brawl. FLUDD Mario: FLUDD Typhoon, a much stronger version of the FLUDD Tornado. Jumps high into the air with Sunshine's spin-jump and floats for several seconds, spraying water everywhere and repelling enemies in a wide area, damaging them.
I'd rather just have Melee Mario back, maybe with a launch star Up-B at the very most.
Hades would be much better.
I think James Woods is busy with other projects right now.
Since Snake most likely is not returning, I want the Kid Icarus cast, or at least Pit and Palutena to take over the character commentary role.
I think James Woods is busy with other projects right now.
I'm sure you'd be pretty busy too if you spoke solid gold instead of words [editline]t[/editline] To those who have no idea what the heck, he's talking about that other Hades.
Comparing the chick to Mario, the outline doesn't look completely homogenous around her entire body. [editline]22nd January 2014[/editline] Like, it's slightly different in places, unlike Mario, where it's the same all the way around.
You mean like how the outline is thicker on some parts of Pikachu, but barely there on it's tail?
Since Snake most likely is not returning, I want the Kid Icarus cast, or at least Pit and Palutena to take over the character commentary role.
I know it ain't gonna happen, but I can see this with a Paper Mario stage and Goombella would take the role of this and use her "Tattle" skill, for which she is famous for putting humorous or sassy commentary in her descriptions. I mean I don't really think we'll even get something like Snake did in Brawl, either way.
That image is super old, I remember seeing it months ago.
Odd, a mod on Smashboards said he saw them a while ago, too. And here I was just hoping you were mistaken. BUT I STILL WANT TO BELIEVE
why do people keep saying snake is most likely not returning?
why do people keep saying snake is most likely not returning?
Cause he hasn´t had a game on a Nintendo platform since the Gamecube, besides that port they did for the 3DS.
If we get a villain from Kid Icarus, I hope we get Medusa, since she is a recurring villain as well as a female villain.
she had like 2 lines and had like two attacks aside from standing still and turning into an ugly head whats the appeal [editline]a[/editline] shes hot
she had like 2 lines and had like two attacks aside from standing still and turning into an ugly head whats the appeal [editline]a[/editline] shes hot
Medusa was the antagonist of the original NES game too, y'know.
she had like 2 lines and had like two attacks aside from standing still and turning into an ugly head whats the appeal [editline]a[/editline] shes hot
She has more than that, also [sp]she assists you in the final boss battle against Hades as a way of getting revenge against him.[/sp]
I'd rather just have Melee Mario back, maybe with a launch star Up-B at the very most.
I want Mario N64's forward smash back. That massive punch was so much cooler than his weird fireball thrust that he has now.

down+b should be a mariokart thingy. I was kind of bummed that they removed Wario's motorcycle in Project M, I'm sure they had a valid reason but that was my favorite aspect of his character.

Surely the motorcycle that he didn't start driving until after the 4th game he was in is more important.

If anyone deserves two movesets, it's Wario; both of his franchises are popular but have completely different gameplay. Let the biker outfit stay as it is and make the overalls costume into a separate fighter. There's plenty of material to work with for a new moveset; the power up hats from WL1, the transformations from WL2/3/4, the earthquake punch from Shake It!, the disguises from Master of Disguise, the brawler moves from Wario World...

His forward smash is based on Shoulder Bash. His down throw is based on the Ground Pound. His forward throw is based on Wild Swing-Ding. His up special is based on Corkscrew Conk. His neutral special is based on Hot Dog Hog and all the microgames that followed suit. His down special is based on He Who Smelt It and all the microgames that followed suit. His side special is based on his bike, first seen in the opening cutscene of WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$. And his Final Smash is based on Wario Man from WarioWare: Twisted and beyond. Everything else is pulled out of the air using only tropes surrounding his brutish nature and rude tendencies as a basis.

I hope she'll be voiced, and have lines specifically to taunt Pit if someone's using him. That'd be amazing.
Well look at that, nice timing with the Palutena leak, huh?
