No, you get Warioware because Japan likes Warioware. No Wario Land for you.
No, you get Warioware because Japan likes Warioware. No Wario Land for you.
I can't wait for playable Tingle. Since Japan loves the shit out of him, in addition to him having his own franchise of 2 games + a balloon fight reskin, being one of the most commonly reincarnated characters, being in the franchise for a while etc.
If we were to get a Rhythm Heaven rep it would have to be Karate Joe. He's the only character to appear in all 3 games! [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/hhTUdU8.png[/img_thumb] Stolen from Smashboards.
I heard you liked more Rosalina shots! [t]http://i.imgur.com/nK4yF7j.jpg[/t]
Pic of the day. Rosalina's down special move, tentatively called the Gravitational Pull, sucks up items and weapons. Weapons will be disabled when using this move, of course. You have to shake the Wii Remote to perform this move in Super Mario Galaxy, but you won't need to do that in this game.
Wow it's fucking nothing...
It's kind of annoying that the key purpose of this move is to pull items toward her, when playing with items on or off is a major setting option. I was hoping it would have a neat mechanic aside from that, not just a projectile neutralizer. My friend had this theory back from when we played Melee that items on made some characters more balanced. It definitely irks me that this move could be evidence toward that line of thinking, but honestly, that was a stupid theory and it's stupid thinking. Though Sakurai is being kinda vague, this move might be useful for approaches and other strategies with items off.
Why would they add a move that only works if items are on? Does it deal any damage at least? Or does it also bring opponents closer to you?
It would be more useful if it slowly pulled enemies near by towards you for a second or so, but maybe that would be game breaking?
Why would they add a move that only works if items are on? Does it deal any damage at least? Or does it also bring opponents closer to you?
Diddy's Bananas, ROB's Gyro, Megaman's Metal Blade, Peach's Turnips, etc.
but for the generous portion of players who play with items on, if it does anything besides muss with items it becomes overpowered and ridiculous. not like you used every single move of your favorite character all the time because they were all equally viable, that's no fun, you tried sillier things because they were fun and not as likely to work jet hammer best hammer
Diddy's Bananas, ROB's Gyro, Megaman's Metal Blade, Peach's Turnips, etc.
Damn, didn´t thought about those. [editline]27th January 2014[/editline] I´m willing to bet that on 22/2/14 will be the day Diddy Kong is revealed.

jesus christ you guys have terrible memory in the newcomer video, rosalina was clearly capable of blocking Mario's FLUDD with her gravity move. from this we can assume it'll have some use defending from projectiles, and as some people here cleverly pointed out there are plenty of items that are created by fighters Anyways, I decided to play some Nazo No Murasame Jo (Mystery of Murasame Castle aka the game that Takamaru guy that everyone talks about is form) and god damn it's fun. Ninjas literally swarm you by coming out of bushes and trees, you can throw knives/shuriken/fireballs and deflect their knives/shuriken with your sword and it's incredibly fun. There's definitely moveset potential for him; he can turn invisible to get away from attackers or to attack them with his sword, he has a lot of throwing items, he can deflect projectiles with his sword etc. I'd love to see him as the Retro Representative of Smash 4.
Would you play him?
Only if this is his final smash.

I just got project M/Dolphin working with netplay and all. I played for an hour with a friend and we didn't desync once, much better netplay than that of Project 64. If anybody in Europe plays add me on steam

How comical!
that is actually pretty cool its my favourite new item so far
I know it's probably due to being a still pic but... Marth's animation for that...
Ok, so we have melee, ranged, summoning, and comical weapon types now.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/3hYynUp.jpg[/t]
I demand Gust Bellows. Like a mix between Fludd and the Cracker Launcher.
I demand Gust Bellows. Like a mix between Fludd and the Cracker Launcher.
FLUDD should have been an item you could pick up.
I know it's probably due to being a still pic but... Marth's animation for that...
He looks like Poochie
controlling that stupid ass beetle in skyward sword was a pain i had zero problems with the motion controls in skyward sword in every other aspect, but that dumbass beetle never worked properly
