Ridley's too large to conduct that train
he's so large he is that train
When The Train joins the battle, Ridley is in charge of being the train Ridley : Leave it to me!
The reason why they don't want Ridley in is because he's so large that he'll take up 50 GB of space.
Doubt it'll happen. There's never been any point where he wasn't a competitive darling.
sakurai hates comp
I must be the only person who played Uprising and still doesn't want another Kid Icarus fighter. Palutena's entire schtick is that she's mission support with a few exceptions.

Which is a 3D classic on the 3DS.
Which is a 3D classic on the 3DS.
I really dislike how 3DS ports take precedence over games that were originally on consoles. OoT is getting 3DS trophies and a Gerudo Valley 3DS stage despite the most well known version being on the N64, for instance.
I've played a bit more into Wonderful 101 and the more I play it the more I want some representation in smash...it just feels right. Also come on, giant bossfight in the back ground going on while this plays. Shit just writes itself
I'd totally dig Wonder Red as a character. A stage or assist trophy would be acceptable, but having him be a full-fledged character would be the bee's knees.
Wonderful 101 is the hypest shit, but I think it'd be too soon for the series to debut on smash. If he was on though, he'd probably have a moveset comparable to Capt. Olimar's. Maybe.

Olimar's. Maybe.
Captain Olimar crossed with Captain Falcon. Really, the only reason I think W101 should get character representation is because it's part of Nintendo's lineage now. Everyone wants Beyo or Travis, but those either started or ended up on multiple platforms. The Wonderful 101 are, for the foreseeable future, a Nintendo franchise.
It usually takes a generation until any signs of a game appears in Smash. We got Olimar on the console after his debut, and for others it took longer. We'll see W101 in Smash 5, if at all. I can't recall any cases of characters debuting in a game and getting into Smash in the same generation.

(Fire Emblem is still a long running series but shh)
Fire Emblem and Pokemon are probably the two exceptions, since their games introduce new characters every installment.
Uprising Pit was in Brawl a generation before his design was even used in a game.
Say what you like I still really like this
Way tooooo small. Needs to be the biggest character in the game or hes going to look ridiculous. Ridley isn't small and currently isn't represented as small unless you consider his baby form.
really nice website that compiled all of the smash info so far. http://smashbros-miiverse.com/
Besides, why aren't you guys getting excited for a Kid Icarus Wii U title? I thought the stages were going to be on the platform they appeared on.
this isn't a particularly strict thing. if theres a wii u kid icarus stage it'll just be because pit is a character in the game and needs representation. there'll probably be a mr. game and watch stage too, and a wii fit stage on 3DS, etc, this means nothing.

Look what I can do, too~
Besides, why aren't you guys getting excited for a Kid Icarus Wii U title? I thought the stages were going to be on the platform they appeared on.
To be fair, I don't think it was actually stated that console-based stages are console only and vice-versa with the handhelds, I think it was only said that the 3DS version would house mostly handheld-based stages and the WiiU would have mostly console stages.

So there are weight/power/composition rules for projectiles now? That's really interesting. I wonder how certain things will react to eachother, like a fireball and crash bomb, or a blaster shot and a missile.
They kind of are but the second stick doesn't do anything. Levels that give you a lot of room are amazing and you can work with them easily. Brilliantly though there are levels above pits (jokehere) with thin walkways and... that's when they kinda suck as the game will sometimes misread what you want and have you swan dive into the abyss. It's worth muscling through those rare instants though. It's probably just because Link's arrows are faster then Pit's, so his travels further in the same amount of time. Although he's also posted a screenshot of a blade attack cutting up a missile, and Brawl had those boxes that exploded when struck by fire.

i seriously do hope they make the new super smash less like brawl and more like melee... melee was better in every way i can imagine and like they said in the video, casual fans don't really care if it's fast paced or not because melee was fun to play casually as well. i doubt they will though... anyway im totally going to apex next year
i wonder why sakurai made brawl floatier for casual play when NOBODY liked it [editline]a[/editline] sd card for project m comes in this friday, im really excited im gonna fuck with it and add new stages and shit
Tell ya the truth, I liked the lighter/slower physics of Brawl. Going back to Melee these days feels weird.
