Except for the fact that nintendo is publishing Bayo 2 just like W101, That being said, I think Wonder Red Would be so much better and more nintendo's scene (less Sexual) and over all just a better fit that didn't stick out like a sore thumb, Snake.
Bayonetta is still not really a Nintendo character, if Sakurai's comments on Mega Man from the developer's direct back at E3 is any sign, the only third parties that'll get in have to be on par with Mega Man.
I wouldn't mind a W101 character, I'd prefer it to most other suggestions I see. Usually it takes a generation for a character to be 'smash-worthy' though so I'd say it's more likely for them to get in Smash 5 when/if it happens. (FE and Pokemon are exceptions, of course.)
I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at, considering Snake was in Brawl.
Snake didn't make any real sense to be in a Smash game but people came up with reasons to justify it once he was in Brawl. Much like Rosalina was thought to not have much of a chance like Skull Kid or Ashley, but now that she's in people act as if it was obvious.
I'd like to see Wonder Red or other W101 character, as well as classic Simon Belmont. I don't read this thread very often so I don't know if Simon's been talked about before.

However I don't know the status of the Castlevania IP so who knows.
I don't want W101 or Bayonetta characters if not just because I have less than 0% interest in either of their games
Honestly I've come to the conclusion that as long as they don't make any thing I deem a really bad choice (Zoroark, Krystal) and get in the characters I want the most (K. Rool, Ridley, Little Mac) with at least 1-2 more pleasant surprises (I'd love Duck Hunt Dog but nobody else would) I'm happy

w101 is the best game on the wiiu right now, I think you should [sp]get gud[/sp]
Putting Bayo in Smash at least seems like a good way to market the game considering its difficult placement in the market. Saying that, Sonic is already substantiated as a Sega representative; then there's Megaman (and potentially Pacman) to contend with on the third party roster, it's looking pretty unlikely.
BUT until the game comes out I'm a strong advocate for her inclusion because holy crap its Bayonetta.

you've come to the conclusion that you'd be happy with the characters you want, and unhappy with the characters you don't want or don't care about
very well put. i was really gripping the edge of my seat

well jeez sorry
maaan bring back dr mario nintendo, at least as a skin
I find it hard to believe Bayonetta would get in when her two things (as far as I remember) are that she quad-wields guns and that her hair turns into torture devices.
also tna
I just realized Wonder Red won't get announced because his alternate colors would make him less red
That and I imagine the wonder fist being stupid huge and in game Wonder Red is slow as shit with it out. Man now I'm depressed.

good point, i mean whenever team battles happen and they lock Mario for any team but red, it's such a let down
this is sarcasm and I hope yours was, too.

Pic of the day. When Lucario shoots out Aura from its hands to fly with ExtremeSpeed, you can control its flight direction. If Lucario's Aura is fully charged, it can fly extremely far, so be careful not to accidentally launch out of the area.
More reason for me to play as Lucario again.
...So the worse he's doing the better he'll be at getting back onto the stage as well?
Well then.

I kinda wish it'd go like this instead:
You know how he charges his Aura Ball? Well if that's charged up fully, and he stores it inside, and he tries to recover, he gets a little extra boost like above, but expends the held Aura Ball.
If you wanted that extra boost all the time, you'd have to take the time to always have a charged Aura Ball to expend, giving it a bit more strategy.
There is already a lot of people out there thinking Lucario is going to be OP as hell :v:
Didn't people think that about Wario at first for Brawl, just because something mentioned his attacks being "intentionally jerky" and "near instant"?
Either way, people are forgetting that the characters being given these awesome new features may also be getting their damage or knockback/hitstun factors nerfed.
It also sounds like while Lucario may get a higher chance of recovery the higher his damage, that recovery may also be extremely unwieldy and just as likely to ram you into a wall to your doom, perhaps even overshoot the arena during tense moments.
I think the way they're fixing OP characters is by making everyone OP.
Screw balance, I want ball-busting action.
Adding momentum to Extremespeed could balance the increased recovery chance. After the animation completes you'll still be moving in the same direction with a speed relative to your damage percentage. If it's really high, a poorly aimed recovery could launch you off the opposite end of the stage with no way to salvage it.

smash bro 5 for nintendo wii ouo [pronounced "wii wow"]
Sakurai: "everyone does 999 damage per hit. all characters are now landmaster. The smash ball gives you sonic's smash. good luck."
I hope they just exaggerate everyone's good qualities and make their whole moveset revolve around them
Like improve Ness's projectile and air combo game because that's already good, or make Ganondorf hit harder and make him harder to KO because those fit his playstyle, don't make every character closer to a middle ground, make them all professionals in their own area
You know what'd make Ganondorf OP?
[sp]His own moveset[/sp]
You know what'd make Ganondorf OP?

I like Ganondorf how he is personally, I think it fits him to just fight with brute strength, it'd be good if he had some sword moves to improve his range a bit but keep it mostly the same.
But it'd be stupid to make him quicker and more agile as a measure of balance, because then it's boring and every character is just the same thing but with different directionality and sometimes a projectile.
Ganondorf with a Skyward Sword-esque design, complete with [sp]an evil counterpart of the Master Sword, Ghirahim style[/sp], and a moveset based on heavy sword techniques AND magic, would be quite neat.
And having his old moveset transfered to newcomer Black Shadow would be swell. Specially if voiced by Norio Wakamoto. That'd be glorious.

Better still, draw inspiration from games people like and give him a design that's in the Twilight Princess style but more like the younger Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time. Seems similar to the approach they've taken with Link.
Bought a Zelda Wii U, so unlike Brawl, I'll be able to play this'n from the get go.
I am hype.
