I like Project M even if I don't agree with all of it's changes (like changing some animations and sounds back to Melee's just because) but these new character rumors are making me like it a lot more. Especially playable Sami, which I posted on like a page or two back.

it's a mod mods can be considered their own thing in some cases depending on how far the mod goes

Have they ever done the Regi's in a pokeball? I think Regigigas would be cool, just come out and smash shit up and leave, that or be like a stage trap for several seconds, someone get's knocked into him and then he giga impacts them.

Oh man, he could stay immobile for ages acting as terrain, before attacking someone out of nowhere. That'd be great.

Just to deflate the Project M thing a ex-modeler made the sami thing for fun, it was never intended to be used. (Least that's what I've been hearing) But let's talk stages. I've been thinking about Pokemon X/Y on the 3DS and what could represent it and I think I had 2 really great ideas that will never happen. 1: Generic Route, the fight takes place on a large path with no pits in it, only way to be KO'd is off the top of the screen or the side, what makes it interesting is there's tall grass on the side and somewhat like Silph Co in the first game pokemon have a chance to poke out of it and hurl a attack before retreating back into said grass. New pokemon like honedge can have a warning beacon like the cars in onett to signal them coming and stuff like that. Stage made by it's hazards more then anything. It could even have a alternate version that takes place in a cave and, background rocks being gravelers etc that roll forward and explode. 2: The Elite Four chambers all mashed into one that rotates around. Water fills the room when it's in the water segment making the platform "float" and players could swim like in a few stages. When it switches to fire two flame geysers appear on the side and fire shoots up like "walls" at random times. For Steel man-made weapons spawn at a higher rate as well as metal boxes (assuming they return). Dragon I'm pretty stumped on but it's dumb wishing anyway. Thoughts when two players are left though the stage goes completely vanilla like the champions room and becomes a clean 1v1 area music change and all (assuming you're playing with stocks)

Speaking of Smash Flash, I wonder how well GM9 could handle a Smash Bros. clone. It would probably run a lot smoother than Flash does. Shame that GM is only raster-based, though. If a fan Smash is only gonna be 2D, I'd rather see drawn art than the retro sprites people constantly use. Sprites don't work well when rotated or zoomed.

To be fair though, Rosalina did rebirth the universe at the end of Mario Galaxy 1. It even sounded like a baby, as if the metaphor wasn't blatant enough.

Edit: Reason being is A: Her design is way to close to Marth's (seeing as she dressed like him to pass herself off etc) so they're a bit too visually similar and B: Her fighting style is just Chrom's so it wouldn't make too much sense for her to be a alternate costume for Marth. Best we're getting, if anyone, is Chrom or Robin.

But Marth is already in-game, why would you want Lucina is the addition of tits to an already feminine character enough to justify an entirely new character?

why does everyone think Lucina would be a Marth clone? she fights more like Chrom i mean its inevitable Chrom is getting in and he will be different then Marth if anything wouldn't it make sense for her to be a Chrom clone/costume

Everyone with alternate costumes don't change the name chanting either. Wario is still Wario and WFT is still WFT. And as I said before Lucina would look a little too similar to Marth I feel, seeing as she kept the costume on the entire game even after getting found out.
