The biggest problem is Knuckles' huge arms and teeny legs. Other than that (and the bandages), it looks fine.

Most people are complaining about the tape if it's not either buff Knuckles or the odd-looking game models. The complainers that annoy me are those going "SONIC TEAM'S FUCKING UP YET AGAIN" despite it being entirely western-made, though.

the redesigns are pretty nice, sonic has always have pretty awful character design but these look a pit more stylized and if the bandages were toned down I would really like it
the in-game models look terrible tho
i thought mother brain was going to be revealed as the map's stage hazard and making us think ridley still had a chance to be in. looks like i put too much thought into the screenshot. oh well
This is the first instance I can think of where I'm happy to see an assist trophy, Mother Brain is pretty fucking awesome.

roy hasn't been in smash since melee and he was similar to marth because clones were needed to pad out the roster
ike was nothing like marth, his sword might as well have been a club in the way he used it
there's nothing wrong with people using the same sort of weapon. any problems concerning movesets is because sakurai couldn't be bothered to think anything up.
