Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing the Excite Biker or Mach Rider as characters that constantly ride their motorcycles. That could be really interesting.

That could be really interesting.[/QUOTE] I am convinced that the entire desire for Mach Rider to be a thing is because of his name. Mach Rider is a really cool name.

I like how Mac has the 1-hit K-O thing. It makes him play differently from every other character. Mach Bike would be good for the same reason. A completely unique and interesting character design.

Hopefully we see more obscure but not necessarily retro franchises in Smash.

It's neat how Mac is best on the ground, and his homestage has no bottomless pits. Compare that to Ness who got gimped on Fourside thanks to the buildings ruining his recovery.

Although that might split the chances between Saki himself and SS's Isa.

Onett is Ness' hometown, after all... Fourside was generic metropolis that was said to be in the Earthbound universe.

Still, I thought the Fourside background looked beautiful and I loved the stage for some reason.

I really hope the give a slight buff to Ness. I always felt he was missing something. Or maybe I just didn't understood how to play with him.

I'm probably the only one who wants to have an Eternal Darkness stage to fight on, sanity effects are the stage's gimmick. Probably won't ever happen though

I believe the only reason they used Samus was because she is the tallest of the (currently revealed) cast who isn't a hulking creature. Canonically she's around seven feet with armor and 6.5 without. I will say though, Bowser or DK would've been even funnier in that same scene.
