i just bought an 3ds so i don't really know much about the prices of games at launch since i haven't payed any attention any estimates on how much it will cost?
Games are usually $35-40 at launch in the US. But you're Finnish, so you're probably looking for Euro prices. Couldn't help you there.
well i guess i should be scared then i just checked prices for one store and i found mario 3d land for 35e, legend of zelda 49e pokemon y 44e :I and yeah that amount of dollars what you said would be like 25€-30€ or something like that
I know mind sound really dumb but what if both versions of the game came in the same box? Like one side would have the Wii U cd and on the other, the 3DS cartridge. Or maybe a bundle would be more preferable for that kind of thing. For those who would like to have the two versions.
if only nintendo had a cross-buy system in place like sony
even if the Wii U version is better, more people have the 3DS and the likelyhood that someone who has a 3DS would buy a Wii U for a multi-platform game is small
Let's not lie to ourselves, Melee will be the most played either way.
It's kind of strange to me that people would play the 3DS version. I can't imagine playing smash with that control scheme.
I'm gonna get both versions, but I still want my first experience with SSB4 to be on Wii U. I wish they would just announce how the two are planned to interact, though. Maybe at the next E3.
I just hope they don't make too much content that's exclusive to either version.

To play Smash Bros. on the go is an amazing thought.
When you get the 3DS version you aren't thinking about that, you get it because it's Super Smash Bros you can play anywhere. Everything else is just icing.

I'm getting the 3DS version because I don't want to buy a Wii U for one game. [editline]23rd February 2014[/editline] My friends have 3DS' so I can play multiplayer
I have a Wii U and I'm getting the 3DS version so I can play with my friends, because who has a wii u 4 real
The best quality of a game is being able to play it properly, THEN everything else is just icing
Just because you enjoy Smash Bros on a home console doesn't mean it is the only way it should be played.
I'll see which content is between which version. I'll probably spring for Wii U, but if there's enough content difference to justify it I might get the 3DS version as well.
Just because you enjoy Smash Bros on a home console doesn't mean it is the only way it should be played.
It's not the only way, but sitting down on a couch with a couple of friends and playing Smash on a big screen is definately the best way.
I am still getting both versions but first is the 3DS one since my little brother is also getting that with a few of my friends.
It's not the only way, but sitting down on a couch with a couple of friends and playing Smash on a big screen is definately the best way.
Best way to play any multiplayer game. Seriously even stuff like Black Ops 2 is fun as hell in splitscreen.
I just can't imagine multiplayer being decent in any way whatsoever on 3DS. With WiiU, you have a nice big screen for local four players. On 3DS, you'd have to brave the peer-to-peer wireless, and for a more technical precision-based game like Smash, that could end up being a disaster.

Which is also a concern for WiiU Smash, as there is no support for wired controllers, only wireless.
I could see the 3DS having some sort of gameplay mode that takes advantage of the fact that each player has their own screen For instance, they might bring back the Cloaking Device item, exclusive to the 3DS version

I'd expect more music choices for the WiiU version as well due to the difference in filesize allotment between systems.
I'm getting the Wii U one because I don't want to play on no tiny-ass screen when I can have beautiful HD graphics on my big TV with my Wii U
I'm getting the 3DS version because the Wii U just isn't worth it for one game.
Guys. Hey guys. Just hear me out guys. What if.... Nannerpuss as boss for Smash4
not as a boss as a playable character
not as a boss as a playable character
he'd be OP, it'd be metaknight all over again.
