Poor Waluigi. He tried so hard and yet he's a mere assist trophy yet again. I never expected him anyway, though. Those hands are an insult, though.

Maybe, but he moves so eratically and fast, it doesn't matter a bit. Especially if his fingers aren't even animated. There is no point for so much detail on a model you might not even see 1/4 of the time. Just like a few texture work we've seen so far, like Fox's arms. The only time you would see them is if you pause the game and zoom on it. Yes it wouldn't be an acceptable work for a playable character. Thing is, he's an assist little benchwarmer. They probably even have a polygon limit for each kind of model to ensure maximum FPS. Who knows!
