wario wasn't in brawl, that was ADHD biker man. he's like, wario's brother or something. the real wario uses brute strength and transformations based on the attacks he gets hit by and he was nowhere in brawl.

Seriously though Wario is probably the character who needs the least amount of things made up for a moveset and Sakurai still decided to make shit up for him. God damn I just want to buttslam and shoulder barge things.

agreed he is basically my most wanted veteran at this point and I loved his unorthodox fighting style on brawl I would be more then happy to see it back. fun fact I wanted him since the first smash bros little did I know back then that I would be 9 years for him to make the roster

I like Wario no matter the series, his biker-esque WarioWare look, or his classic WarioLand look.
Either way, he's a money grubbing asshole and that's why we all love him so.
Wario is Wario no matter the outfit, whether his moveset is old or new, or his movement is fluent or comically choppy.
I've been waiting to throw this topic up but there's really never an oppurtunity to discuss it so I'll just walts in and see if anyone wants to talk.

I quite like the character and the potential moveset that would go with her, but it would just be odd to see her included. I mean she's not from a recent Zelda title (not counting the remake), hasn't played a prominent role throughout the series and doesn't play an incredibly vital role even in the game she features (at least to my memory).

On the subject... I think Medli would be an excellent character, but I think we have enough double-team characters that I'd probably rather have Makar be one of her attacks (like Toad is to peach) or only appear for her final smash.
I don't think Makar is very fit as whole character. Makar feels very shoehorned in as a two-in-one fighter with Medli, they don't really work alongside each-other that much in the original game aside from playing a song together.
Other than that I don't think Makar is that good of an inspiration for a new fighter. Medli is a humanoid with wings that lives on a volcano island and willingly follow you into a dark cave with a bunch of undead monsters to help you out, Makar is a friendly and innocent little wooden ball that wobbles along the ground with his stumpy feet and arms who gets lost in the forest and eaten by a giant flower. Lastly, the announcer/crowd calling out "Medli" seems a lot more likely than them calling out "Medli and Makar" or "Sages".
To be honest I only put in Makar because a few of my friends suggested it, before I actually just wanted Medli on her own, but then I felt guilty over leaving Makar out of it.

So far, Sakurai has said no cuts have been made right now.
While it probably doesn't mean much, it seems that so far, the entire cast from Brawl is likely there still.
