Wow, I just beat the Subspace Emissary again and I'm glad they aren't doing a big adventure mode in SBB4. That was just frustrating and not fun at all.
You get knocked around like a punching bag and the enemies rarely ever get interrupted in their attacks. Not to mention the stages looked boring as all hell.
The only good parts of the SSE were the cutscenes.
glad im not the only one who thinks that i mean i enjoyed it for what its worth but i definitely had no plans to play it again once i was done. If its like melees adventure mode we should be golden
you know what would be cool
in game commentary like FIFA and PES

Only if reggie was commentating
I really hope the next Project M update brings back Luigi's mansion and a working Warioware. God forbid we want to play the nutso maps instead of a flat ground with a couple of floating platforms.

well duh who else would do it
I have never thought of that before but holy shit that's an amazing idea
Maybe one stage only, like if there was a baseball field or something
For one stage it'd be cool, but you'd have to record like two hours of dialogue or it'd grate after like ten matches.
well it'd be procedurally generated, like fifa nd pes and stuff

I FUCKING HATE the paratroopas in SSE
They headbutt you no matter what with their smug ass fucking faces and I just wanna snap my controller in half

Yeah, the gameplay is fun, but the stage choices were really boring and meh.
You can edit the stages yourself by deleting the files you don't want, or adding in ones you do want.
I don't mind the redesigns of various items. After three games where they've basically looked the same, some variety in design never hurts.
The only one I'm not a fan of is the Baseball bat. I feel like they dressed it up too much, when it being a normal, wooden baseball bat was part of it's appeal.
As cool as it is, I can't help but feel like they're changing these iconic designs just for the sake of it. There wasn't anything wrong with the old bumper design and it was pretty iconic since it was around since Smash 64, but oh well. Still looks nice.
I agree, somewhat. I do feel like the Brawl/64 design was really iconic and I'll miss it, but I kinda like the look of the new bumper. It seems like this time around they're adding more of an "intense" style to all the items. Along with all the stylistic changes, it really seems like they're trying to give this game its own flavor.

Aw man, just the thought of having a massive field expand out behind the fighters while Reggie's voice echoes off the stands is too great to imagine.
SSE had it's problems, but I just loved the idea of having a single player that feels like a proper adventure rather than a series of dudes to fight.

Yeah, I think more or less the problem was that SSE was too convoluted and they pulled off the "neutral, non franchise" universe pretty weirdly.
I think a larger scale Melee style adventure mode would be better as opposed to a generic Smash universe adventure mode.
Also, as of two Pictures ago, they removed the Newcomer Banner for Diddy. Some have said in the past that that typically means another character reveal is coming up. Seems a little soon, but keep in mind Sonic and Toon Link were merely days apart if I recall correctly.
that yoshi 3ds game is coming up
I think the best way to do a singleplayer thing for smash bros would be like... argh, what was it called in Soul Calibur II? Weapon master? Just do that with some kind of light crossover story and it should turn out pretty awesome.
It's probably too similar to event mode, though.
I'm not really sure if this is the best place to post this, if theres a problem I'll just move it.

Just a video of me and some friends playing project M over dolphin netplay. Nothing to serious, just messing around and also a few clips of me being silly with cpu's.
Its mostly a way for me to express my love for Snake and Ganon, then anything.
Hope you guys enjoy. (I'm Rawk/Chill in game, by the way. Just random names.)

Toon link/sonic were only four or five days apart, I wouldn't be surprised if they reveal another veteran within the next couple days

Our house has a rule where each of my roommate chose one item to turn on. Lately its been PokeBalls, Bumpers, Shells, and Homerun Bats.

When my friends and I play, we always have the following on, at low:
Homerun Bat
Ray Gun
Beam Sword
Shell
Bumper
Pitfall
We chose these based on how consistent and skill-friendly their mechanics are (Pitfall thrown at foe is an insta-spike, Ray Gun can be timed to juggle, etc), so that they never feel like something you have to get to win. Sometimes we enable Bob-Ombs, but they occasionally misbehave and appear right on top of someone, so they're usually switched off right after.

Not to mention with the release coming closer and how they've been revealing more interesting details in pics of the day, they can afford to go from 1 vet per month to 2.

Pic of the day. So far, which attack can blast away enemies the most dynamically… Is it King Dedede's fully charged Jet Hammer? Nah, it can't beat the K.O. uppercut. You can damage yourself by overcharging this attack, so watch out.

I thought Sakurai being a Nintendo fanboy would cause problems.
Honestly shadow doesn't really have to be just a clone.
He does all that chaos control and chaos stuff that they could give him a completely different move set and FS.
Also it would be cool for Sonic to get the "dark" super sonic random chance for a final smash.
At this point I wouldn't really be surprised if Shadow showed up as a really late unlock quasi-clone kinda like Wolf in Brawl. There's sure enough demand for him on Miiverse.

Sakurai proceeds to add this Goku.

Dark Super Sonic is from Sonic X.
Let us never speak of him again.
I don't think any third-party series should get more than one character, though. This is a Nintendo series, after all.
Isn't Sonic technically owned by Nintendo now anyways? :s
And Shadow has enough differences from Sonic to avoid being a clone. I mean, look at their movesets in Sonic Battle, completely different from each other. The only manner that anyone would consider him a clone is: He's fast, he forms into a ball upon jumping, and is a small, anthromorphic hedgehog. That's it.
I would not have any hopes of him becoming playable at all, but I'm just saying it would be possible.
