We're probably getting a release date, Sakurai has set up a Twitter account for Smash Bros ([url]https://twitter.com/SmashBrosJP[/url]), and he'll want to get everyone into maximum overhype. I'm guessing we'll get 3 newcomers a la the first trailer, along with some info on general gamemodes etc. Veterans could go either way.

My best guess is it will be a "Here are a bunch of previously unconfirmed returning characters and a newcomer" video.

I have a hunch he's going to kick into maximum overdrive and start revealing a lot more content even after the direct. Brawl revealed too much over a long period of time and disappointed people because there was so little left to discover. By rationing off the content he reveals up until release, he ensures he can increase the density of content revealed while still leaving plenty as secrets for people to discover when the game comes out.
