A bit bummed because Ridley and (Likely) Mewtwo aren't going to be playable, but there's enough sweet new stuff to keep me hyped.
As a consumer, the 3DS version coming first is great. For business: what is Nintendo doing? If it was the other way and they focused on Wii U the consoles would sell more!

Mewtwo's chances just dropped. At least I was right in predicting that Sakurai knows who the most popular starters/pokemon are. My Kalos trainer idea had Charizard and Greninja as the two of the three playable pokemon to select from.

I´m happy for Yoshi, Zero Suit, Shiek and Charizard, but I´m still trying to get Greninja in my head.
I honestly thought it was Mewtwo until they revealed who it really was.

I still believe Palutena is coming though, Pit's final smash is new and there was the Pseudo Palutena Fakeout (10/10 again you magnificent trolling bastard you).
and ZSS's update has me so fecking happy.

Well I was deciding on getting a 3ds for portability or a wii u sooner down the road, with 3ds being the deciding factor. I thought about getting ssbu for the amazing graphics, but after seeing smash run, I'm sold on both this game and a 3ds.
Sad that there was no Chrom reveal, but that was a pretty satisfying direct.
I almost want to go to smashboards and see if they're just gonna straight up preemptively ban custom movesets since that seems like something they'd do
