calling it right now

To be honest, Palutenia's temple is basically a collection of smaller stages anyway so I wouldn't mind seeing how they would function as individual stages.
Y'know what's a missed opportunity? They should've made it so that when the characters' eyes glow when they have a Final Smash at the ready this time around, they get the Smash cross:

Well I just got my first comment on the new video:

Some people just don't like speakonia it seems.
That just looks silly.
Plus, they'd all be cross-eyed. (I'm not sorry)
Are you fastfalling ? it prevents edge grabs.
You need to be facing the right direction too, you can't grab from the back like in Brawl.
Aboute Link, get him up in the air, he has a harder time than you to recover on the ground. If you end up above him, bait an upsmash with a well timed airdodge or second jump and punish.
I'm using my recovery as GW and trying to go grab the edge of the stage, it seems really hit and miss
samus isn't dench enough tbh like where are her mussels?? not even rule-of-cool can justify it like she'd look cool and still fit the gamer-boner niche even if she had some dench muscles
[editline]10th April 2014[/editline]
also i finally got brawl minus max working on dolphin, but it was so worth it, minus max is so much more fun than normal brawl like what is the point of playing normal once you've played it
Jesus Christ, is THAT what it looks like in Other M?
Designed by the folks behind the Dead Or Alive games.

There are many good qualities Dame Judi Dench has but a muscled physique is not one of them, what are you on about?

That explains it...
Nintendo had just as big a part in Other M as Team Ninja.
Sakamoto actually did her Other M design, I think. Team Ninja got a lot of misblaming here; for the most part they were the ones trying to play straight-man and keep Sakamoto from screwing things up too bad.

I feel so bad for people who think the game is nonstop jokes based off that 10 minute clip. It's way slower and boring when actually playing it.
But yeah I guess Tomodachi collection may be the perfect time to announce Mii as a character if they really are being put in. Also in the Find Mii stage I wonder if it's your mii or a random one, I can see them giving Reggie a cameo if it's random.
Also the temple looks way bigger then New Pork City so I'm not entirely sure why people are hyped about it when all I read is "Man I hate New Pork City"
Edit: Yeah Sakamoto was behind 90% of the shitty things in Other M, He was the one who ordered Samus to talk without emotion (apparently she showed a wide range but he wanted her to be stiff and lifeless).
If it gives any clues Team Ninja made her gravity suit purple and Sakamoto threw a temper tantrum because PURPLE WOULD RUIN THINGS. and threw himself in the way of progress until he got his way.

Either way it was doomed.
Metroid Prime felt more like a game in the line of Super Metroid than future games made by the guy with heavy imput in Super Metroid.
Fuck Sakamoto, seriously. Yokoi will be getting even the undeserved credit for Super, because Sakamoto deserves no praise.
Sakamoto is basically Metroid George Lucas.
And it would be an objective improvement, because the size of that stage is barf.
[editline]10th April 2014[/editline]
Not sure if I'd call it original, it's real damned close to Bowser Road.
Are you kidding me? Large stages are very welcome ; imo the best when playing with 3 friends
to be honest guys I don't think I can contain the hype until this summer
aaaaa
Also the temple looks way bigger then New Pork City so I'm not entirely sure why people are hyped about it when all I read is "Man I hate New Pork City"
it's because New Pork City had no solid ground or any large, central structures to battle on. it was all floating platforms and random props, with an unnervingly chaotic purple aesthetic
it was like an atom: 90% empty space
I wonder what the final destination versions of the 3ds stages will look like, if they're for the 3ds version that is

It was a chore just to get in range of opponents.

Now I think that's a bit unfair. Sakamoto may have have royally screwed up Other M despite constant warnings from both Nintendo and Team Ninja themselves, but that doesn't discredit everything else he did before Other M and that doesn't mean that there still isn't a kernel of a good game below all the mistakes. In fact, it got generally favorable reviews and most of the flak is merely towards the story. If they gave Other M the Zero Mission treatment and fixed its mistakes, it could become an excellent game. No one denied the game's potential before its release, they're only lamenting how much of that potential it failed to live up to.
Sakamoto is nowhere near George Lucas's level. George Lucas is someone who systematically destroyed his own series by not only creating just as many bad films for every good film it had, but also deliberately went back and screwed with the good ones to make them more like the bad ones. And then the series was whored out so many times it probably has every STD known to man. The name "Star Wars" is more a joke to me than anything, although admittedly I've always been a Trek fan. Other M is one subpar game amongst a series of gems because the creator got a bit too auteur-minded and tried to pull a Miyamoto by upending the tea table, but couldn't. And until he starts pulling a Lucas and gives us constant repeat performances of that, I'm gonna believe he learned his lesson, rather than childishly renouncing him over one game, Eriorguez.
When I played Other M I remember thinking "God, I wish a better game was done in this style" but because of blind anger on the fans' part, or shitty interpretations of the anger on Nintendo's part, that dream will probably never come true.

i think i've picked up too much local slang dench here usually means super muscled/fit/strong
used to mean generally good but that has been superseded by dank

I was overreacting a bit, true. But, in any case, Metroid Fusion didn't quite feel right, even if a good game all in all. Its unique feeling, while GOOD, was not the kind of feeling I'd like in a Metroid. Not enough exploration, not enough freedom, changing environments that meant that some places wouldn't remain accessible for the whole game... The weak points of Other M started to show there, but they were hidden due to sprites and the game being better. Prime, meanwhile, felt like a Metroid game. Heck, even Echoes feels more like a Metroid game than the latter Sakamoto ones, even with 2 worlds and limited ammo for 3 of the 4 beams. But hey, my opinion.
I don't have enough money for a Wii U and it's fucking killing me inside I'M SO HYPED FOR SOMETHING I CAN'T PLAY
You've got till winter to save up though
Alright! Let me just calculate how long it will take, based on my current salary of $0.
I expect around 10 characters to not be announced like in Brawl...and maybe up to 5 cuts like from Melee to Brawl (Roy, Dr. Mario, Pichu, Mewtwo, Young Link)
I think its safe to assume we lost Squirtle & Ivysaur

I wonder if there will ever be DLC for these games down the line, like PSASBR. A few extra characters not originally in the roster added later...
