Honestly I liked Smashville the best -- I would much prefer subtle variants on FD, like simple platforms moving up / diagonally / other small predictable gimmicks rather than "projectile characters fucking rock destination"

Pic of the day. This is the final destination version of Gerudo Valley. No more surprise visits from Koume and Kotake, and the bridge is gone. There are no distractions and there's nowhere to run. And the score that plays in the background is "Gerudo Valley."

You can make most stages turn into a final destination. Depending on the stage, it might be floating in midair or perched on a cliff.

after playing project m for a while and therefore also kinda playing brawl, i have realized that there's one thing in brawl which i really think they should consider changing for smash 4 and that would be characer recoveries
seriously, there are too many characters in brawl which can survive no matter how far off the stage they fly off... they should be a bit more conservative when deciding which and how many characters can do that
and recoveries which automatically seeks the ledge are kinda boring too... like zero suits lasso thing. theres no way to punish those recoveries which is just lazy
Brawl in general makes recovering way too easy. You automatically latch onto edges from pretty far away, and you can easily exploit this by just dropping from a ledge, jumping back up to them and exploiting the invincibility frames.

They already changed ZSS's up special to that reverse kick thingy and olimar uses the winged pikmin for recovery now so I have a feeling that tether recovery is gone for good. (link/samus might still have grab air tethers though)

Don't forget Pit's Up-B.

Or meta knight flap glide up b
I fucking love meta knight, he's so deliciously overpowered
idk, I like brawls better recoveries - it forces you to either beat the other person up more, or go for riskier moves like gimping their recovery or straight-up meteor smashing them
plus, the characters with good recoveries (good enough to be op) were light enough to launch out, apart from fucking pit
fucking
pit
!!
My favourite part about meta knight is how incredibly good his aerial moveset is, i can beat my opponents to a pulp and just juggle them around with ease.
I dont like his lack of launching attacks, his up-b is difficult to connect.

Quite ironic for a character that isn't supposed to be able to fly on it's own, isn't it?
I haven't been keeping up with Smash Brothers but is this gif legit?

I think it is, but not to sure considering the arm acts weird, tho it probably just acts weird.
Also is there a video introducing Sheik, Samus, The Pokemon and Yoshi?

OH GOOD CLIFF VARIANTS
CHANGE HAS COME
Can't we call social services on Capcom for neglecting one of their IPs? :v:
the dude who made mega man got pissed at capcom and left and is developing a game called mighty no. 9 (its mega man)
Sadly, it´s only a matter of time until Capcom becomes the new THQ.
My favourite thing to do is smack somebody off the side of the stage as GW, then run off after them and immediately use the judgement hammer, anything above 4 usually kills them but that noise when you get a 9 and they get slammed is the best
Then just do an ultra smooth recovery up and slide back on to the stage

Judgement hammer?
Or do you mean game & watch's random attack thing
Judgment Hammer = Side B = Random Attack Thing
It's the official name.
I like to scream "GUILTY!" whenever I hit someone with a 9.
I just got back from a SSBB tournament at my school, shit was intense. I got pretty close to the final bracket but I was beaten out by this girl who was pretty good as Zelda (and was dressed as Zelda too) in front of my mom who had just walked in (she was the only one mom there.) I wasn't that upset because it was pretty fun, and then I played in area nearby with my friends who I beat multiple times. Today was a great day all-in-all.

Who did you play as? Also, surprising to see a Zelda player. I almost always see people play as Sheik instead.

I usually use shiek until my enemy's % is high then switch to Zelda for a strong smash attack

but did you get her digits
Just did a quick skim of the old Smash Bros. DOJO!! archives. Man, I remember those updates happening in real time. Especially that mysterious black post that was the first sign of SSE. People went nuts over that.
Hard to believe it's been seven years...
