E3.
I can't wait until everyone starts moaning about how long it's been since the last reveals. Last time that happened we got the Smash Direct and got 5 characters.
I just want Meta Knight. Then I'll be completely set until E3.
i want to see Wario soon its very safe to assume no reveals for the rest of this month i hope we get at least one by next month
I'm fine with the characters announced so far, but i've made the mistake of getting hyped for the game already...
I just want Meta Knight. Then I'll be completely set until E3.
I think they'll reveal him to coincide with Kirby's Triple Deluxe's US release.
May 2nd. Well I´m hype.
May 2nd. Well I´m hype.
It'll be a good birthday present
Wait, what's on May 2nd? That's my birthday too
Wait, what's on May 2nd? That's my birthday too
Possibly Meta Knight´s reveal, since Kirby Triple Deluxe comes out on the US that day. [editline]17th April 2014[/editline] Let me also point out that Mario Golf on the 3DS gets a release on the same day.

Here is a (kind of) sequel to the last match video. But this time the same Link player faces a Falcon. [sp]Falcon just couldn´t get that 1 kill.[/sp]
I might get a lot of flak for this, but i think they should tone down or outright remove Wario's random nature and farting, reinstate his original clothes as his default outfit. move the farting (to a lesser degree) to Porky Minch, use Porky to kill off Lucas' spot. Smash could use a few more villains. Porky's moveset would mostly compose of cowardly moves like blocking a hit with a Mr Saturn (think Peach with Toad), randomly crying with a rare chance of stun and using fantastical technology such as rayguns and summonable robot maids. (similar to Zelda's Phantom.) his final smash could just be Porky-Bots, or chimeras displaced from time. Would like the idea of a Nintendo Legion of Doom consisting of Bowser, Ganondorf, Porky, Mewtwo (?!), Hades. with Wario as the token neutral team mate who just lounges around unless there's treasure. Giygas would be an omnipresent force, but unknown.

I felt that his moves focused on him being a glutton more than him being greedy.
Nintendo legion of doom, with Porky but not Ridley? Please.
You'd end up pretty much taking away what makes Wario Wario- he's a greed, a glutton, and he'll do whatever it takes just to get rich quick.
Yeah, remember all the farting and eating people he did in Wario Land? That totally defines Wario. Out of all the characters to create a moveset from whole cloth for, Wario needed it the least. He has dozens of abilities from the Wario Land series; Wario World gave him great potential for throws with the Piledriver, Wild-Swing-Ding etc, his ability to pick up enemies and move while holding them and charge up throws would allow him to do some tricky chaingrabbing, the utility of his shoulder dash (you can jump out of it, you can duck during it to slide along the ground) would give him good approaching options, but none of that appears in his moveset. He has moves loosely inspired by random microgames and Game and Watch style animations that barely fit him.

But I guess it goes with how they made Mario a lot friendlier since the time he was a whipping-carpenter-jumpman called Little Mario.
I always liked how King Dedede wasn't even really a villain, just kind of a prick. Like, in Dreamland, the kind of thing that constitutes a righteous quest for justice is that some dude is sorta being an asshole.
Kinda sad they didn't keep his sadistic and psychopath sides from the early years.
The only instances of that were in commercials, and even then it was the American commercials; the Japanese ones have nothing like that.

He can't be limited to what he does in Wario Land.

He can't be limited to what he does in Wario Land.
For a character that was designed around brute strength appearing in a game designed around fighting, they'd use some of the original source material for his movesets. The non-Warioware games gave him things like the shoulder bash, ground pound, clinging to ceilings, flying through the air, spewing fire, a penchant for using bombs, complete invulnerability, a myriad of status ailments he could use to his advantage/disadvantage, a ground-shaking earthquake punch, throwing enemies in a number of ways ranging from shaking them down for cash, piledriving them into the ground, or swinging them around and hitting other enemies in his way. He's pretty much a portly wrestler that fights dirty. And a large portion of what makes Wario Wario was neglected to be represented in Brawl. The only bits from his original call to fame that made appearances were: his forward smash (which had horrible range and endlag), his forward throw, his down throw, a riff that plays during the song "Waluigi Pinball", and his victory theme.
I'm wondering this. Little Mac's FS is Giga Mac. Bowser's FS is Giga Bowser. I wonder if they're gonna change Bowser's old FS to something else, cause it seems so far a lot of the Final Smashes are transformations. Lucario, Charizard, Little Mac, and Bowser all have a transformation FS.
Giga Bowser never really made sense to me anyways. Even though I know the younger me was pumped as fuck when I found out that was his final smash.
Giga Bowser never really made sense to me anyways. Even though I know the younger me was pumped as fuck when I found out that was his final smash.
I kinda agree that his new Final should be clown car
Wait Dedede isn't a bad guy. The whole character behind him is he's a well-intentioned idiot (most of the time anyway). Any time he does something truly evil it ends up being "oh dedede got possessed by something AGAIN." [editline]17th April 2014[/editline]
I kinda agree that his new Final should be clown car
I hope so. Giga Bowser is ugly as fuck and just terrible. Most final smashes can be traced to their games but his was just junk. That and Luigi's (awesome dance skills aside)
I kinda agree that his new Final should be clown car
Giga Meowser? [t]http://www.mariowiki.com/images/4/4d/Cat_Bowser.png[/t]
I think the whole Giga Bowser Final Smash was just so they had an excuse to use the resources for the thing after it was a surprise 'secret final boss' in Melee, making it more of a reference in-series than to the Mario series. The only other relevance it has in Brawl is in a single Event challenge, I believe.
