Are they comfortable? I've heard it's even better than the Xbox 360/One controller in terms of comfort and usability. I haven't bought one yet cause I haven't used my Wii U since birth.
Pro Controllers feel a lot better than the 360 controller. I can stretch my fingers under the controller whereas with the 360 controller I can't because of the battery is in the way. Speaking of batteries, it lasts for a pretty long time too.
I can't wait for the new super smash bros, but one thing I fear are the controls. I've been used to gamecube remotes for so long, the wii u gamepad looks kinda similar button-wise but I'm not sure. I even bought one of these things JUST for this game: [t]http://www.mariowiki.com/images/c/cd/WiiU_COntroller_Pro_White.png[/t]
I will always wonder why this isn't the standard Wii U controller (besides the gamepad). The Wiimote doesn't do much that the Gamepad can't do.

Triggers, which can feel weird, but they're more useful for pretty much everything other than racing games. The face buttons can take getting used to if you're accustomed to them being above the right analog stick rather than below, but that's just a matter of time. Speaking of time, the battery lasts for 80 hours of gameplay, which is insane, and when it runs dry (once every decade or so), it can charge while playing. It also has a USB cable, so I'm sure it'll be useful for PC games once somebody makes some drivers for it.

Having the stick so far away from the B button makes jumping a bit annoying because your thumb has a longer distance to travel. Other than that, it's ace.
I don't like the right stick's placement. Having the stick so far away from the B button makes jumping a bit annoying because your thumb has a longer distance to travel. Other than that, it's ace.
How exactly does the right sticks placement affect jumping?
How exactly does the right sticks placement affect jumping?

Having the stick so far away from the B button makes jumping a bit annoying because your thumb has a longer distance to travel.
Most games map jumping to B, and the distance you need to move your thumb from the thumb stick to the B button is greater than usual. Compared to a 360 pad for example, where the A button is directly above the stick.
Just remake the Gamecube controller and everyone will be happy

I'm actually considering a Wii U because I love the controller and I don't frequently watch movies so not being able to use Blu-Rays or even DVDs is fine with me. That and Backwards Compatibility is always a plus.
I really hope they change some of the powerful launch final smashes into something more interesting, meta knights final smash is badass as hell, but it's pretty uninteresting, same thing goes for falcon and zelda and who else.
I'm sure everyone can remember the first time reaching for the Z button on the gamecube controller. Worst button placement ever. To this day I have to lift my other fingers to press the Z button comfortably. It will be easier getting used to the WiiU controller than we think.
Uh Sheik, you may want to get that hand checked out.
Wow, Sheik looks pretty buff. I mean, he must work out 3 hours a day to get pecs that big. :v:

I can use any button as jump, b preferably, but smash bros is special in that x and y jump specifically in my head, though as a downside i cant use the stick to jump at all
Sheik looks to have the most rigging/animation issues, theres the pic I posted last page, that other one above and now... [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12804628/Temp/13892364296_23f37b3f82_o.png[/t] Dat ass. [editline]18th April 2014[/editline] More hand crazyness from sheik and... Toon Link is also in need of some help. [t]https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7040/13892538666_4c3723c415_o.jpg[/t]
so is captain falcon really confirmed for not returning? because i seriously will not buy the game if i can't play as my favorite smash bros char
so is captain falcon really confirmed for not returning? because i seriously will not buy the game if i can't play as my favorite smash bros char
yes, they cut falcon. confirmed. they also cut mario, luigi, kirby, and marth and replaced them with dr mario.
captain falcon not just cut from smash bros, but cut from life hes fucking dead and its all your fault
Even if he was cut that would be a lame reason not to get the game. If they didn't bring back Toon Link I would've been disappointed but I aint gonna throw no shit fit.
You think Shiek looks bad in these screenshots, just wait till you see Captain Falcon His neck will stretch to infinity and his falcon kick will cause his legs to tangle all around the battlefield
so is captain falcon really confirmed for not returning? because i seriously will not buy the game if i can't play as my favorite smash bros char
It has been confirmed that Falcon has been replaced with Kratos.
Serious, but semi off topic question, would you guys rather see Captain Falcon cut from the new Smash Bros in hopes for a new F-Zero game, or Cpt. Falcon in SSB4 with no hopes of another F-Zero? (I know if there really was a new F-Zero game he would definitely be in, just random discussion),

[editline]18th April 2014[/editline] As long as they make this online, hd and new courses, I´d be happy.
But what if we got both?
