I can imagine him catching Lucario's Aura Sphere, which raises the question if said projectile does exact the same damage back as he would have taken. (Aura Sphere gets stronger the more damage Lucario has at the moment.)
I would assume that it functions as if Mario, Zelda, Fox, Falco, or Wolf had reflected it. Just redirect the damn thing with the same properties it was fired with to begin with.
Could he grab Fox's lasers?
Probably not. Too weak, fast, and insignificant to warrant it.
Probably not. Too weak, fast, and insignificant to warrant it.
There's an innuendo in there somewhere. On a different note, since we have Megaman, what do you think are some good candidates for more third party characters? The trend so far has been "Popular, and has good relationship with Nintendo." By that logic, Castlevania doesn't seem out of the question.
I really would rather have this on the Wii U, but seeing as I don't have one, I'll have to get it on 3DS if I don't have a WiiU by then :v:
Wreck it Ralph and/or Fix It Felix Jr. should join in. (I mean hey, Wreck it Ralph 2 was gonna have Mario involved...)
Fit trainer x captain falcon is now a thing
Show me your moves
Aw shiet. http://gematsu.com/2013/06/wii-fit-trainer-joins-super-smash-bros
Last week, Gematsu was tipped off about Nintendo’s E3 character reveals for Super Smash Bros. But since we were unable to confirm the validity of our source, we refrained from posting the information. Of the six characters we were told would be revealed, three have been confirmed: Mega Man, Animal Crossing Villager, and Wii Fit Trainer. The three left remaining are Little Mac, Pac-Man, and your Mii.

Aw shiet. http://gematsu.com/2013/06/wii-fit-trainer-joins-super-smash-bros
Pac-Man's Final Smash is a giant 8-bit Pacman that munches around the screen, place your bets.
I like SSBU's art direction alot more than brawl. Bright, colorful and cartoony.
So hopefully those arent all the newcomers but just the "newcomers you wouldnt expect" that they chose to reveal at e3
Damn it. Not particularly thrilled about Pac-man, but Lil mac's in, so that's cool
little mac would be awesome
Aw shiet. http://gematsu.com/2013/06/wii-fit-trainer-joins-super-smash-bros
Little Mac? Awesome. Pac Man? Sure! Mii? Ehhh....
I like SSBU's art direction alot more than brawl. Bright, colorful and cartoony.
I also think it looks faster and less clumsy :D Maybe it's just because of the change to Bowser that's giving me that illusion though, but damn, Bowser looks pretty decent now
I like SSBU's art direction alot more than brawl. Bright, colorful and cartoony.
IMO, a good style is better than good graphics. Which is half the reason Nintendo games looked good on really old hardware.
Question: is Nintendo gonna be revealing stuff throughout the next two days too? Or was today their only day?
Question: is Nintendo gonna be revealing stuff throughout the next two days too? Or was today their only day?
5 days a week they said they'd be showing stuff. Whether it's pictures, stages, characters, or items isn't really mentioned.
Little Mac? Awesome. Pac Man? Sure! Mii? Ehhh....
If the size of your Mii actually makes a difference to their gameplay style, like they do in Super Mario Kart Wii? That'd be pretty fucking awesome. Maybe make it so that there are 3 or so different possible move sets. Light Mii, Medium Mii, and Heavy Mii.

Light Mii becomes Kirby-ish, Medium Mii becomes Mario-ish, and Heavy Mii becomes Link/Captain Falcon-ish.
I can't get on Smashboards. They probably exploded from the rage of the WFT reveal. (They seem like the sort to get mad at her.) I don't mind her, personally. Ridley just better make it in.
smashboards are just a bunch of tryhards who hate fun.
Eh... I'm still iffy about Ridley. I like Ridley as a boss, not sure I'd enjoy it equally as a playable character. There are other characters I want more.
Eh... I'm still iffy about Ridley. I like Ridley as a boss, not sure I'd enjoy it equally as a playable character. There are other characters I want more.
Like Reggie
I hope Wario makes a return as well.
smashboards are just a bunch of tryhards who hate fun.
I just go there for the Smash discussion and try to tune out the competitive circlejerk. They come up with good movesets and character and stage ideas, though.
Like Reggie
i could see it happening
If the Mii is in they better make it so that the colour of your shirt gives you the same power you get from Streetpass Quest and your size determines speed and strength.

Height determines size of attack hitboxes, how tight their ground and air control is, and whether or not they have a tether grab. Gender can have an input on what moves are available. They can make all sorts of variables altered by the things you input when customizing your Mii. Of course, things such as skin color, hair color, and facial structure shouldn't have an impact, as you'd be near impossible to try to balance all of those combinations with one another and with the rest of the cast.
