Bullshit, Kirby could eat waddle dees
in fact, Dedede could wind up eating his own minions too. Which is horrifying
Looks like you can grab the enemies in Smash Run.
I mean: Grabbing Enemies in Smash Run confirmed!
Suck it, anyone who didn't want to be able to grab non-fighter enemies! (actually I think you could do that in the SSE in Brawl but you just automatically threw them so maybe it's different now?)
I wonder if Parasol Waddle Dees will drop their parasols as items. Maybe Kirby could get their parasol when he swallows one?

They live to serve... and to be served!
What would be dope is if they added extra characters to the Wii U version after the 3DS one is released and give these extra characters as a free DLC for the 3DS version once the Wii U one is released.
That wouldn't quite go well, since Sakurai already confirmed that both versions will have the exact same roster and it would only lead to more character requests if they add any characters after the release in any form.
In the end both games would have the same character roster tho, it would just give Sakurai an extra 6 months to polish up stuff instead of putting rushed chars or even scrapping them.
Not to mention not everyone has internet connection, those poor saps without Wifi will never get such 3DS Smash DLC
The only 3DS game I can think of with DLC would be Dead Or Alive Dimensions and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It's free for both, but were time limited.

If needs be they could go to an internet cafe or something and use their connection.
I mean I'm all for trying to account for those without these things, but we shouldn't be withholding content on the grounds that not everyone has the connection required.

New Super Mario Bros. and Fire Emblem Awakening have DLC too. Mario Golf World Tour will have the first Season Pass in Nintendo history.

Won't Mario Golf have Day 1 DLC too?
Speaking of which that's sad because I was really looking forward to this game, but I don't see myself buying a Season Pass, it's somethin I really don't support.

Then don't buy the season pass and have fun with the game itself?
That's most likely what I'm gonna do, but I feel bitter about missing 6 courses that could have been included in the main game, especially the two from the Day One DLC.
I'm one of those people that would buy any DLC Nintendo offered for Smash. (That is, assuming it's not disgustingly overpriced.) My will is just too weak when it comes to SSB.
Not gonna lie as much as I hate DLC I'd probably buy Smash DLC without rethinking.
Anybody else praying to god that they don't release the 3DS version at the ass end of summer, like around mid to late august?
I'd like to enjoy some smash time without senior year getting in the way of it.

I'm hoping for sometime in July but I can't help but feel it's gonna be late August, it just seems like the kind of woefully disappointing thing that has to happen with release announcements.
I would probably want balance patches over DLC.
3DS being the testing grounds, send patches to it to fix exploits, balance changes or bugs and release a better polished game on WiiU with these already on the disc (and further 3DS versions having the patches already on it?)
And anyways, didn't Sakurai said that if they add DLC, it would be free?
Pic of the day. Don't eat him. You can't eat him.
aww thats to bad because it wood be super hot imo
One way to entice people to the wii-u I think would be with DLC characters, 3DS gets them as DLC and they're already on the disk when the wii-u version comes out so the "the two versions have the same roster" thing sticks.
Though Sakurai has said he doesn't want any dlc anyway so shrug.
Waddle Dee is so cute. Kirby really does have a lot of unique looking characters in it - even just the regular baddies.

He never said that. He said that he didn't want to focus on DLC while working on the core game, but he wasn't opposed to it.

You have deviantart for that

not everybody here has a 3ds, we should consider their feelings when putting games out that require one
not everybody here has a 3ds, we should consider their feelings when putting games out that require one
Smash Bros 4 doesn't require a 3DS, and people who get the 3DS version shouldn't be missing content that was promised to be in both versions.
I bought a 3DS just to play the heck out of the first release
and those other 3DS / DS games I always wanted to play
Mario Kart is pretty sweet

Settle down there buddy, I keep getting told "Sakurai hates the concept of DLC and said there wouldn't be any." So just figured it was right.
