But they never revealed anything on a previous Western reveal date besides Tropical Freeze, which was released on the same day as Little Mac's reveal in the Direct. There's no precedent for getting characters revealed on US release dates and expecting otherwise is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

my brother pointed out to me that diddy kong and lucario actually used their brawl portraits in the smash brothers direct gameplay footage most likely placeholders, but I thought it was interesting since they already have renders for them, so why not use those?

Here's me hoping that tonight we either get Wario or Meta Knight reveal.

If anyone is getting revealed, I would assume it's either Meta Knight or a Kirby newcomer if there are any. Since Kirby Triple Deluxe releases tomorrow and Sakurai totally isn't biased towards his children at all.

Considering we're getting stuff at E3, I expect a drought of character reveals so they can reveal multiple at a time in 6 weeks. Just like, you know, before the Smash Direct. Okay, while I'm disappointed that he isn't a fighter, at least Nintendo acknowledges Dillon's existence and put him in the game PERIOD. And when I say disappointed I mean devastated.

There is still May 16th. But yeah, while I like Dillon, this week is a slight disappointment.

I have to admit I always thought Dillon looked cool, but I'm glad he's just an assist trophy. I think he would of had a good amount of differences from Sonic, although the biggest thing against him was there's just more deserving/interesting characters out there.

Be as honest as you can here, are his games really that good? I always get told "the games are fun" but when I ask why/what they're about all I get told is "your a cowboy and you roll around a lot." Edit: Murple you're doing it again :v:

Man it might of been the video but the game looked super boring. So all he can do is sonic's spindash into things and roll around big empty fields? If that's the case I can kinda understand not giving him his own slot. Edit: You know instead of rating me dumb you could y'know, tell me what I got wrong.

It´s not that, the game itself isn´t bad in any way. Everyone has their own opinion of the game, but another reason is that he is just too new to be in Smash Bros right now. Same thing implys to Wonder Red, they are both great candidates for Assist Trophies, but as characters in the roster it is best for Nintendo to give them more time and see if they actually become a popular Nintendo series of the future. Who knows if Dillon will ever return in his own game in the future.
