Him and Ridley were actually the only two characters I wanted to be playable in Smash Bros. Oh well, I guess that was asking a lot anyways.
Who knows, you guys still might see Ridley.

[sp]Jesus fucking christ this image never stops being hilarious[/sp]
At least I've still got Wonder Red to hope and be disappointed over.
I'm also hoping that we get something Kirby related soon because of the Triple Deluxe release.
I wanna ride the "probably not gonna be in Smash but wouldn't it be somethin' if they were?" train too!
Personally, I'm hoping we get Snake or Wonder Red.
And if I really feel like setting some unrealistic expectations, Banjo/Kazooie and Simon Belmont.

We did. On the Japanese release date. We got King Dedede. Remember?
I meant for the american release date.
We never get anything for American release dates, unless they were unable to reveal something on the Japanese reveal date. This has always been the case.
No no no. Medusa is voiced by Cree Summer, not Jennifer Hale.
Pfft, Claudia Black has the most seductive voice in VAing.
Can someone fill me in on Shulk actually? I want to actually know why dudes want him as I never got a chance to play Xenoblade. That and I want to stop thinking of she-hulk whenever someone says his name.

sigh i guess its gotta be me don't know why i'm doing this but anyways the sword he wields the monado allows him to see glimpses of the future which goes hand in hand with the games real time combat for example if an enemy is going to do a deadly attack you can use it to make a countermeasure to help prevent it or soften the blow basically the monado has more then just slashing to it can extend to a very far range can cause him to speed up and create force fields to name a few moves his personality isent too unique eg: do anything to save his friends blah blah blah but he does have excellent potential for smash and his game was a blast
basically what im telling is a quick rundown that dosen't begin to scratch the surface there is a lot more to it then what i put down here
If only one could get in between Isaac or Shulk, who would have a more interesting move set? I'm definitely leaning toward Isaac.
Isaac has more varied abilities with all the Psy moves and Djinn. I like Shulk but he basically just has a big laser sword that tells him the future and I don't really see how the future telling part could be applied to a multiplayer game.

From the sounds of it (and once again only thing I know is what the thread told me) he'd be yet another character with a down+b counter. Are there any proposed movesets?
make all his moves counters and conditional followups to counters
Shulk also has buffing and debuffs, dunno if they would use those sort of abilities in smash though, or his move that does more damage from behind.
shulk should be in as atleast an assist trophy
he's kind of important as he represents the whole operation rainfall thing
I would kinda like Mii as a fighter if they used Nintendoland + Wii Sports themed attacks.
Like the Mii would switch real quick into the outfit and do the move, then switch back into the default costume. I think it would be neat.
I wish I was lucky enough to play Xenoblade.
That whole limited-release thing happened :/
Part of me wouldn't mind Mii appearing as a fighter just for the shenanigans it would entail.
But then again I still feel there are characters more deserving of a slot than what is essentially a non-character.
They need to add Doctor Stiles from Trauma Center, obviously. Final Smash is that he freezes the round so he can commit malpractice on the opponents.

Final Smash is Monita giving everyone a tutorial without a skip button. During the tutorial, time is stopped for everyone but Mii, and he can do anything for like 10 seconds.

As opposed to Wii Fit Trainer or Villager?
I would love to see a special custom moveset mode where you can make your own fighter by altering various moves in the game. The Mii-Fighter mode would be separate from every other mode; you can play the other modes within Mii-Fighter, but you would not be able to play as a Mii outside of this mode. People who don't want to deal with Miis don't have to; think of it like Special Brawl, where you can play the entire game without going into it.
But that's just me.

I saw it in Gamestop the other day, should I have picked it up?
I saw it in Gamestop the other day, should I have picked it up?
there is hardly any copys of it in existance so it was a rare find indeed when i got mine it was the last in the store i wasent going to let that opportunity escape me and boy am i glad i did as i have never found another one anywhere
I got my copy as a gift, I wasn't even aware it was rare until a while ago.
Took my wii to a get together the other night, we had loads of fun trying to beat the events on Melee by passing the controller round, then we finally unlocked Mewtwo by leaving it on overnight :v:

I played 700 matches of Vs instead of waiting it out. :v:
I played 700 matches of Vs instead of waiting it out. :v:
We tried that, but sadly I'd only played about 40 matches of Melee before, seeing as I main G+W I couldn't really get in to playing 700 matches as anybody else, so it would of taken forever that way

If they are going to add Miis as a fighter, they ought to do it right. Segregating them from normal play is no fun for anybody and whilst this 'pick and mix' style play might sound good on paper, some moves are clearly better than others and without other downsides inherent to the character the game mode would be unbalanced to hell and would quickly become a question of having the most powerful/annoying moves. We already have customisable movesets and that allows for customisation without breaking everything.
As for Miis being a non-character - there's just something about them. They always seem so lifeless. At least Villager and the Wii fit trainer have some character and personallity to them, where as Miis are always more like an empty shell. I don't know, that's just my opinion. I can live with them getting in as a fighter.
