So wait why was that implemented again? Just to fuck around with?
I used it to annoy my sister when she was picking her character
That's a staple of Sakurai menus; speaking of the 3DS - in Kid Icarus: Uprising, you can drag all the menu buttons around and ram them into each other.
is he willy wonka or something?
No if that were the case he would do a front flip at every major appearance.
Also, since I'm in a trivia mood, have some series firsts you might not have guessed about SSB4, such as being the first to... - Be released on a system without controller ports - Be released on a system which supports more than four simultaneous controllers - Be released on a system with an inbuilt camera and microphone - Be released on a system which completely lacks a Z button - Be natively rendered at a resolution higher than 480p (Wii) and lower than 360i (N64) - Be playable before release outside of an electronics convention - Support more than four different control methods - Support two simultaneous displays internally - Remove under 100% of a single character (Pokemon Trainer to Charizard = 66% loss) - Have two initial release dates
- include goku
that joke will never get old.
what?
I think it means that WiiU has a higher resolution than the Wii and the 3DS has a lower resolution than the N64(TIL)
what?
The Wii U and 3DS versions respectively.
- Be released on a system which supports more than four simultaneous controllers
Actually, that's not true. The Wii - at least the original model - could technically support up to eight simultaneous controllers, as there are a few games that can use all four Wiimotes and all four GameCube ports at once. Bomberman Blast, for example, had the ability for eight-player local this way. Wii U's actually a downgrade from that, with one GamePad and four Wiimote/Pro slots for a total of five (six if they ever decide to utilize the system's dual-GamePad ability.)
-snip, nvm it was posted above-

I also believe Mario Kart:Double Dash supported up to eight players with two screens (four on each). I forgot how you were able to do so, but I'm pretty sure it's true. That game also had netplay iirc. :v:
I played Project M. It was a blast. My favorite change is Pokemon Trainer being separate. Squirtle and Ivysaur are so fun to play as with all of their changes. Oh man don't even get me started on how great Wario is here. The only thing I'm having a hard time getting used to is only having one air-dodge before free falling (dodging an incoming attack midair from below still leaves you wide open when you actually land), and the overall WEIGHTINESS (yes I'm saying that like it's a bad thing, sue me).

Seems like a lot of work just to give each player their own screen. :v:

Man I hate days like today, what a boring picture. [editline]19th May 2014[/editline] I swear we've seen this angle in every bit of footage of Giga Mac.
Why does his hair turn into anime when he's giga Little Mac's hair isn't like that
Why does his hair turn into anime when he's giga Little Mac's hair isn't like that
because he's goku and he went super saiyin
[t]https://d3esbfg30x759i.cloudfront.net/ss/zlCfzR8aGT8BdV00Vj[/t]
Might be just me, but the shadowing on Giga Mac looks different.
Goku confirmed for Giga Mac clone.
[t]https://d3esbfg30x759i.cloudfront.net/ss/zlCfzR8oFuMhVdzLbU[/t]
that almost looks eerie.
Damn, Mario looks really nice in that pic. They did a great job of getting them closer to their native series' styles while still keeping Smash's increased level of detail. Also helps that - for once - Smash Mario isn't scowling and has an expression more akin to in his home series. Plus, something about the lighting in that pic combined with the Wii U's increased polygon count makes it almost look like a pre-render.
welp this week has been a shitty start for snapshots this week lets hope sakurai improves on stuff to show us for the rest of this week
What's that thing behind Mario's cap? [sp]it's ridley calling it[/sp]
