A small touch, but a good one nonetheless. I also like that we got some colors.
Spamming dash will look even funnier now.
I like how Kirby almost looks translucent.
Oh. So no more back facing the camera? That's kinda of a sweet detail! It brings SSB closer to the standard fighters where sprites are mirrored (animations for modern games like SF4 and model mirror for Guilty Gear Xrd) And helps with a lot of the classic characters like Megaman who always faced the camera.
I can't get over how awesome Bowser's posture is now.
Damn, that is one sexy fresnel shader on kirby.
I figure it will be different for characters that have a specific handedness, like Link or Marth.
I think this confirms all of the old color variants are back. I think I'll be maining Captain Fabulous again.
is it just me or does the black bowser alt look better it did on brawl?

If we don't get Greninja's shiny colors or Charizard's shiny colors as alt colors I'mma be agnry
I have a feeling this entire week is going to consist of bad pics. I hope we don't keep getting junk until E3.
I'm glad I was wrong. Today's pics are awesome! I love palette swaps. One of the first things I'm going to do when the game comes out is cycle through all of the characters' alts.
It's getting to the point where I almost don't want anymore information so when the game comes out there will be more surprises! Yet as pics release I will gladly look at them because I am weak.
If we don't get Greninja's shiny colors or Charizard's shiny colors as alt colors I'mma be agnry
I wouldn't count on them getting their shiny colors. Lucario and the entire PT team didn't get their shiny colors in Brawl either.
Seriously one of the only reasons Cynthia is popular is because she was the first champion with boobs.
She has arguably the strongest team of all Champions, has a sweet and caring personality, but is a monster in Pokemon battles, also her theme is fucking amazing. If she was a man I'd like her as much.
I wouldn't count on them getting their shiny colors. Lucario and the entire PT team didn't get their shiny colors in Brawl either.
Yeah, unfortunately. I found that so bullshit. Idk, maybe we'll get more color options this time around.

If not, the first thing I'm gonna do is unlock him.
I figure it will be different for characters that have a specific handedness, like Link or Marth.
Link, Zelda, Toon Link, Peach, Samus and WFT won't be much of a problem since they are already sideways to the camera. I don't think they will make the sword wielders change hands (or other characters with a specific characteristic that breaks symmetry), they'll just keep them the way they are with their backs to the camera. Like Marth. [t]http://smashbros-miiverse.com/images/daily/daily-2013-11-10.jpg[/t]
Marth and Link should just stop cheating and use their hands or some blunt object to fight with, like everyone else.
What about the Star Fox character's laser pistols?
Oh, yeah. Them, too.
Some pretty damn great news for you Gamecube fans. http://mynintendonews.com/2014/05/21/nintendo-and-pdp-partner-for-gamecube-style-controller-for-smash-bros-wii-u/

the character flippy thing would still work with sword characters, the sword would just be a little bit across their body [editline]21st May 2014[/editline] like see look:

With Nintendo partnering with them, we could have something good on our hands here.
