Speaking of stage hazards, I wonder if they'll be the same across the two versions. It'd be pretty neat to see multiple bosses from the various games get some attention again (like Kraid).

His wife apparently does the menus in all the games he does, which is why they have such an iconic style.
to everyone complaining why "leaks" always seem tobe ackward camera angles: when you're not suposed to take photos of something let alone risk your job for getting said photo it makes sense you'd do your best to conceal a camera and not really care for a proper angle for the shot.
not advocating over the subject, but trying to make sense out of the nature of those shots.

The changing colors for how long the platform lasts is new, if that's what you mean.

-Mother has never been less known in Japan and Smash Bros 64 came out when Mother 2 was still relatively recent
-Fire Emblem is not little known at all in Japan either, never has been and it's certainly not even outside Japan now
-Wii Fit isn't little-known at all
You could say that for Kid Icarus, but it was only kind of forgotten and always fairly well-known.

Kid Icarus was apparently pretty popular back in it's heyday, and the GBA port in the NES classics series selling well is why Pit was chosen for Brawl apparently.

As much as I dream of a day where Nintendo gets back Banjo Kazooie, Jigglypuff is a popular pokemon in Japan (if I´m not mistaken).
And even if she/he wasn´t, I don´t see why Banjo would make more sense.

Jigglypuff is one of the most popular Pokemon in Japan. It is basically the second most popular mascot next to Pikachu. So Jigglypuff made a lot of sense to be added.

They had a lot of move animations in common in SSB64
jigglypuff was basically a way of allowing them to use a lot of kirby assets while still adding a somewhat popular pokemon
remember that the budget for smash 64 was approximately 4 bottles of sake and a week's worth of ramen
I dreamed about SSB4 last night. The whole game was released, and somehow it had been under enough wraps that nobody really knew who was playable, so the internet basically exploded as everyone who got the game desperately struggled to try and figure out how to unlock everyone.
It was beautiful
