In scarf dude's case, he's at an event where he's sharing a screen with someone and can't enforce a concession on his behalf, so he has to make do with a personal solution.

The color temperature suggestion is a sensible one when you're by yourself, but there's still the issue of the white/blue backlight behind it, which is what the yellow filter reduces the intensity of.

Speaking of SNES Fox, it's funny how his (controversial) voicing in Smash4 actually sounds closer to how he did in the original Starfox.

we're talking about a competitive game here. a player like him should be taking advantage of anything he possibly can to ensure his victory. complaining about this is just as bad as complaining about ganks in league of legends/dota.
the fact that it's boring to watch is just a side effect of the fact that the game isn't designed around being competitive. they can't just patch it out to prevent players from taking advantage of strategies that aren't "fun" like in other games, it's part of the game that's there forever.

Ofcourse, his vacuum-like breathe he had in Wario World would be neat as an alternative for the chomp, just to help him pull them in.

He's a small Bowser with an annoying laugh. Ignoring what he did to Sunshine's plot, as far as a plot in a Mario platformer goes, even the Koopalings have more personality than him by virtue of their designs.
