Lucas has one of the very few up smashes worth charging all the way if you can manage it. The hitbox is big (covering his whole model and a sizable area around and above it) and it does a tremendous amount of damage even when fired off with the C-stick. Down-aerial into up-smash was my favorite thing to do as him, especially on stages with low ceilings. In most situations he just felt much more practical than Ness, though I do like both.

I actually hope they both return, they both are respectful protagonists of each Mother game, even though Ness is the more popular one.

The clips used were captured almost exclusively from WFC gameplay with friends, so I'm not sure TAS would've even been possible. [URL="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N15fVFAAcYA"]Meaning of Brawl[/URL] was a similar deal. They just mess around finding tricks they can do with certain characters/items on certain stages, and get clips of the resulting madness once they've got it figured out. You can do almost everything in the videos yourself with a friend and some patience.

Mostly because in the Ghostly Adventures adaptation, it forgoes the catchiest part (The bit from 1:00+ in the video I posted, 0:34 in the adaptation that you posted) in favor of more instruments. Plus I like my boopity happy music for fighting as opposed to badass music. The Mario and Luigi series dun did me well in that regard, for example.

It looks like he's just using a small TV as both a monitor for his PC and a screen for the WiiU. At least, that's how most people I know do it. Sometimes a small 1080p TV is notably cheaper than the same size of 1080p PC monitor for some reason, and in any case it's cheaper than buying a monitor plus a capture card.

I actually really liked him, so I plan on gittin' gud with him.

Back in the Melee days, I was pretty good with Ness. But then again, all my friends played with items on and Special rule matches, so I probably wasn't at "competitive" level. One of my friends "mained" Captain Falcon, so we played a lot of Ness vs. Captain Falcon coin matches.

I still part-time main Ganondorf in Brawl. Considering he is literally bottom of bottom tier, I guess that's an odd choice. I've found he's great at punishing people who are careless or like to play flashy, with extremely high damage output overall and a good edge game. Don't underestimate a good Ganon player, he'll put you in the left or right quarter of the stage within ten seconds and won't let you leave until you're dead.

Ganondorf may be low tier but he's fun as fuck.

I guess I main Lucas, although I play casually. The only thing I don't like about him(and Ness for that matter) is trying to use PK Thunder to recover.

Has anyone ever had Ivysaur suicide with his tether recovery on the Wind Waker level? It happened to my sister. We were one on one stocks, she was Ivysaur, and when she tried to use UP+B to get back up on the left side of the stage, her vine connected with the ledge, she swung straight into the front of the ship, and died instantly. We laughed for like 10 minutes straight.

The front of the ship is an instant spike KO I believe, characters with tether recoveries should use them sparingly and carefully.
