His up smash and his aerial down smash are my two favorite moves in the game.

The most satisfying part is that you can launch enemies upward by hitting them with his aerial down smash.

I think of Squirtle like an underpowered Mario, and I think of Ivysaur as the character between Squirtle and Charizard.

As I've said many a time before, the character I've mained above all others since the very beginning has been Fox. Not because he was good, but because he represented my favorite Nintendo franchise at the time (and to this day)

Even with how bad he got in Brawl, I still didn't take the easy route and use Falco instead (like many people I know who formerly mained Fox in Melee). I'm so glad he's good again, I can continue my tradition with pride.

For N64 my main is Jigglypuff.
Didn't have a GameCube so when I played Melee I usually just picked whoever, mostly Ness & Jigglypuff.
For Brawl my main is Mr. Game & Watch because Jigglypuff was nerfed. Absolutely wrecked everyone's shit at a party.

Nintendo has this unique way of taking a very simple visual trick (in the substitute's case, 2-3 semi-alpha layers simulating texture depth combined with soft normals) and make it look WAY better than it has any right to.

There are still a lot of games (even next-gen) that have visibly less realistic water than Mario Sunshine, a game that came out in 2002. Let that sink in for a moment, I'll wait.
