On the big screen, I don't want to play with 3D models and 8-bit backdrops, it just doesn't look/feel right at all. Especially that Pacman stage that was shown a few days ago, it just looks ugly. I'd rather them do something like they did with Mushroomy Kingdom for all the pixel stages, by making them 3D but in a different style.

In all the Smash games I've never been able to choose a favourite person to main but assuming his moves are decent pretty sure I'm going to be playing [I]a lot[/I] of Villager.

i almost thought he was confirming some kind of next gen masterpieces replacement where instead of just having roms to play he 'remade' entire games by altering smash. which was getting a bit ahead of myself really.

Honestly you can't win them all- this was a good picture not because it told something new, but because they recreated what looks to be Balloon Fight: Animal Crossing Edition. Cool stuff.

I know G+W is in, I just hope he doesn't look like the goofy original style he had in the pacman trailer I don't see why they would change him, but..

The one from the trailer looks more smooth, but I like the shape of the Melee/Brawl one more.

I mained R.O.B. in Brawl. I hope he returns and gets a slight boost in strength, he was somewhat weak, but not terrible.

Less than 100 days until Smash4 on 3DS.

Do you think there'll be a tournament mode for 3DS? I'd be nice to be able to have matches with more than four friends without constantly having to swap who's connected to who's 3DS. It'd be great with eight player timed matches. Have one match going on with half your friends then another with the rest of you. The two top in each match then go on to fight and the bottom two in each match fight each other. All seamlessly without having to switch connections constantly.

That'd be fun in my classroom. I managed to hype some people for SSB4 3DS and they got interested in buying it in the future. We would be around 6-7 players. That would be super neat.

I too was thinking about it for school occasions. Every year our school does a trip to EGX Rezzed and on the (eight hour) bus ride we play 3DS/DS games. Would love to be able to easily get a big game of Smash going.

Hard to fit that many johns in anything smaller than a Gamecube

I'm interested in seeing Download Play and how restricted that will be, because you can't just go "ok you can only play as mario" in a game like Super Smash Bros. [editline]26th June 2014[/editline] If Download Play is even still a thing with the increased asset filesizes.
