phoenix wright probably will only ever get one chance at a crossover game and capcom fucked it up in marvel vs capcom 3 rip he's one of the worst characters in a game that is heavily dictated by tier lists

Besides, watching Phoenix shame all the villians is funny.

has anyone else sort of sadly and begrudgingly considered the known roster w/ unannounced veterans + Gematsu leaks to be the final roster? I want to believe it's not, but... I just have a feeling that that's all we're getting

Remember, if the Gematsu leak is true, that doesn't necessarily mean Chrom, Shulk and Chorus Men are the only newcomers left. The leaker never knew about Rosalina, so it's possible there were others that they never found out about either.

That got nerfed (because it was dumb) but Phoenix didn't receive any buffs to compensate so the only reason to pick him was gone.

I had a dream the other night where Gamestop had set up some Smash Bros Wii U stations like Best Buy did with Smash-Fest. All I remember is being really excited to play Little Mac and test out his moves, but for some reason his Up-B move was sending a ball of energy upwards which didn't really do much. Still, it was fun to have that moment of pure excitement to play the game even if it was in wonky dream form.

I'd like to point out something about custom moves. We have seen on Kirby that what I assume is his neutral special replaced by Ice kirby. How is this just a stat change or effect change? It changes the model itself and makes the move completely different. Give them time to reveal information about custom moves before thinking the whole idea is garbage like some people have.

As cool as it looks, they already said they aren't making transform characters. BUT! But, but, but they could implement the Sage Sword in his moveset. Still fight with his fists butt pulls out the sword for finishers, specials or smashes. It could work. Now it's up to Sakurai to see if he can rework him and the others semi-clone/whatever you call them, to feel lots different. Sadly, Toon Link doesn't seem very different from Link and that isn't really a good sign...

You know what would be the greatest move Nintendo could pull with Ganondorf? Announce Captain Falcon first, then Ganondorf immediately after to mess with people into thinking he has the same move set. Then announce Ganon has a different move set.

It's fancier then most of the other changes, but it's still just modifying what was already there.
