i love obscure characters, they introduce me to games that i might never have played Ness, Marth, Pit, Snake and the leak of Choir Kids have introduced me to some really fun games that are now some of my favorites. i didn't know who they were (or didn't care, for some like Snake) until Smash Bros. i don't get why people want nintendo to use their lesser known ips more but then say 'why are they putting these nobodies in smash'.

I'm fine with introducing characters from smaller series, but I would've liked a couple more from series that were already in Smash. (Provided the Gematsu characters are the only remaining newcomers, of course.)

I love the obscure. It makes for very unique characters. I honestly didn't know about the whole Game & Watch handheld system before they introduced Mr. Game & Watch into Smash.

It's very likely that Shulk is a contender, but it's a mistake to think that the game is solely being catered toward Japan

Don't forget that Japan has their bouts of "characters I don't know all that well"- Little Mac, for example, during his announcement, was met with confusion from Japan players, saying "I guess they had to appeal to america somehow." Maybe they were introduced to a series that few else in their country had dealt with.

What is Reyn Time because every mention of Shulk is followed up with it. Also I hope (I know they won't) they include Xenoblade Chronicles with X similar to how Bayonetta has 1 with it. Never got to play 1 and I don't feel like getting scalped or watching a 100+ part playthrough of it.

Man nobody knows how fucking enthralled I am about wavedashing being gone. After playing Project M against AI for like 5 months every day in my spare time of boredom I wish I had a counter for every time I said "Fuck you wavedashing piece of shit" because it frustrated me so god damn much.

It's pretty much all but certain they're in the game because of the leak and the fact a character from their game has been seen in the item rush gamemode on the 3DS. I know rhythm heaven is pretty big and i like the games, but I'm not really sure chorus men could have a interesting move set, nor if the series is big enough to be more than an assist trophy/smash run character.

Getting two obscure predictions right in addition to every single other one minus Rosalina is pretty legit sounding to me. But we're gonna find out Monday for sure. The Smash site said we're nearing the end for new characters, and this leak still has three left on it, so if it's legit then it's a pretty safe bet it would be one of those three. I for one hope it isn't one of those three revealed. It kinda sucks having so much of the surprise ruined this time around so I hope we can get at least one more surprise in. Fuck the leak.

Fuck the leak.[/QUOTE] I was completely expecting literally everyone except Wii Fit Trainer and Greninja, and the leak didn't specifically predict Greninja at all. Palutena wasn't as obvious as Villager or Little Mac but wasn't at all hard to see coming. I don't think there's enough yet to consider it gospel, but that might be about to change. To be honest, if it's true that the whole roster was leaked so early I'll be incredibly disappointed. Almost four months to release and all the wonder is completely gone.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how they're done, it'll probably be funny as shit. I'm still disbelieving. They're such a nothing character. At least the ones that people like to bring up like Pit and Ice Climbers were the main characters of their own games. Definitely the oddest choice to get into SSB if the leak is true.

Rhythm Heaven is WarioWare, except without Wario. The only characters you can use for it are the ones that appear in the actual short games. From that viewpoint, Chorus Kids are some of the better options you can use when it comes to interesting move potential etc.
