I was under the impression lucina was just a clone-ish character, I don't really see how she could be an alt costume not to mention that her page clearly says "NEWCOMER" on it

btw it's not Silver Falcon it's just Falcon with the Metal Box. GOLD FALCON THO what a palette

She's a clone with a few moves and unique animations of her own, that's for certain. A bit weird of its handling, but hey. This also possibly confirms that the Direct theory, where the three games they showed trophies of (Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem, and Metroid) could be three series with newcomers on the way since the first two subsequently got their newcomers following that direct up.
