one thing i notice robin looks to be the definitive fire emblem experience character with limited uses for his/her weapons changing them upgrading them etc should prove interesting

It makes a lot of sense they used Marth's buff appearance if they were going to have Lucina in as well.

Think, deep down inside, some of us wants 9-Volt to exist, both as a reference to Warioware and to drain some of the Warioware from Wario. whilst looking like an in-universe Otaku with quirky moves like using an Ultra Hand as a long range Punch/Item Grabber/Grappling hook. i mean think about it, Mr G&W was shown next to Pac-Man and he didn't get a character banner but the Robin video shown 2 newcomers (and Falcon) whilst not clarifying Chrom, whilst giving a banner for Lucina. What better way to reveal both characters than to pop up with 9-Volt? and if they need someone new, he could even mention about Takamaru or Bubbles, with ROB looming over the distance. NES Zapper could have different colors based on palette, as a nod to his Otaku nature and to a nod to the more...knowledgeable Nintendo fans. (they recolored the Zappers to obey firearm lookalike laws)

I see some people seem to believe that the leak can still be real. Chrom is 100% part of Robin's Final Smash. The banner appears like ti does in Awakening when you perform a special move or a critical attack and then you see Robin and Chrom unleashing an extremely strong attack which couldn't be a regular move. Gematsu said "Chrom is a character". He is not a character. Leak is fake. Hype rebuilt. Now, we don't know the whole bloody roster months before release. Good riddance leak.

They have the same moveset, but they play very differently. Also, it actually makes sense for them to fight similarly lore-wise, assuming Fox and Falco learned their combat abilities from the same source. Lucina learned to fight from Chrom, Chrom is a descendant of Marth.

They're in different stages of the jumping animation, Lucina is still rising but Marth has already reached the peak. When Marth reaches the peak of the jumping animation, his shoulders reshape, he pulls the blade forward and his head turns downwards. Training suit Little Mac will have to have a different intro animation too.

If there was something to explain the Rhythm Heaven enemies in Smash Run or how he got numerous things right before then I'd back down but eh. I'm not that stupid, there wasn't much salt on the rumor anymore but someone knocked a shaker over on it and jesus fuck this analogy is dumb. Almost as dumb as people who think Lucina is a alt.

Hell, the video alone sets aside 10-ish seconds to show the male/female Robin option.

Lol, if I were to speculate on that she has her own page being a "alt" compared to all the other "alts" is because she isn't a gender swap of the same character.
