I just got up and saw the video. I can't stop crying out tears of joy; all the Fire Emblem Awakening reps I wanted are now in-game (even Chrom, in a way). Lucina looks really similar to Marth, but I'm sure there's something unique about here not shown. Who knows, it might end up as a Mario <> Luigi sort of deal; similar moves, but some have very different animations and properties. I don't have any analysis to offer on Robin, I couldn't concentrate over all the semen flying through the air. Oh, and Capt. Falcon is back. Cool I guess. [sp]FUCK YES HNNNNNNNNNNG[/sp]

Or Chroms fate was always to be a FS but Gematsu's source didn't have concrete evidence on what he was seeing in the first place. (Totally dependant on how his source is getting the info.) The sneaky spirit thing is still there though and as far as I'm aware all the franchises in smash run have a playable character so far except that one.

On the topic of metroid prime hunters having character rep: I've heard a lot of speculation that Sylux will be playable due to him being in the ending of Metroid Prime 3, hinting at some future relevancy. Supposedly it would be a tie-in with the new Metroid game(s), where Sylux would be a main focus. Whether any of that has any real basis or not I'm not sure, but personally I'd be cool with a bounty hunter or two from Hunters in. I would be satisfied with a differently-paced clone. As much as I don't believe she's a skin, I guess you can never know for certain until Sakurai says so since he has a habit of doing the unexpected.

Just now got back from my shift and saw the trailer. My thoughts: Robin looks interesting, Lucina looks boring, and yay Captain Falcon.

Marth's swings are strong, confident and precise from years of honing his skills with the blade. Lucina's are rather awkward and inexperienced [sp]given she pretty much just takes up her father's sword after a few years of training[/sp], but holds a deep conviction, giving heart to her every strike. Basically I theorize that she is indeed the Luigi to Marth's Mario. It's even in the names; [B]Mar[/B]th, [B]Lu[/B]cina! Also, looking through the screenshots, you can see her interacting with her [sp]Marth disguise mask[/sp], so that means she can't really be a straight up alternate skin unless they're giving those new animations now.

I think the other main issue that I have with the idea of lucina not being a separate character is her name, the villager and wii fit trainer work just fine because they're still technically the same character, lucina is a totally different person, it would be very strange to be playing as lucina and see your name listed as "marth", wouldn't it? of course they could change your name to lucina when you select her as a costume, but at that point you might as well make her a separate character yeah?
