I'd say make a Smash game with every character from every Nintendo related franchise ever, that way everyone would be happy they could play as their favorite character.

I do expect the facial choices to change between alts- villager proved that. It's just by how much that I'm curious about.
I really think Lucina is a odd choice for character. Even Chrom would be better for me...

Here's hoping it's alternate hair styles as well as alternate coloration.
You know, I'm starting to question why Chrom was even in the video in the first place- there could have been any number of characters in his place, or even none at all. Why go through the trouble of using him as a beaten down plot device when he isn't even playable? Just to kick fans of Chrom down a notch?

I'm perfectly fine with clones as long as they don't play too similarly like the character they're based off of, like our cat-eyed friend up there.
In fact, I much prefer Toon Link since he's a smaller and more nimble alternative.

If Z character is exactly the same as Y character [B]gameplay[/B] wise, but they had their own character select "slot," are they are a Clone or Alt?
Sure they would be a "pure clone" but it also fits the alt costume description of only being a visual change. Genuinely curious on the answers.

"Alt" is a character skin that goes above and beyond a simple recolor- if they're given their own slot, then they change to a "clone."

If I had to pick a "dream" smash character while still being slightly reasonable, I'd pick Shovel Knight. Bonus points if he's in the NES-palette pixel art style of the game.

I really hope they bring back Metal Mario in Classic Mode. The tension of fighting him as a kid was seriously crazy.
