Siliconera was saying Wonder Red was a assist trophy so might of heard it there. Everyone called them out on it though so dunno if they ever changed it

You know, now that I think about it, why wasn't Chrom playable? Lucina, as far as I can tell, is a clone of Marth. While I don't see this as bad, Chrom looks like he would have played differently enough to not be considered a clone. It seems like a wasted opportunity, unless I'm missing something.

Robin's the actual newcomer; Lucina's just there as a bonus.

It seems like a wasted opportunity, unless I'm missing something.[/QUOTE] Sakurai seems like he'd rather make a clone of Marth, as if pseudo-resurrecting Roy, than go through the effort of making another individual that's strictly a swordsman from the ground-up next to Marth and Ike. I'm glad Robin became the primary newcomer instead with a unique moveset of his/her own. And the Final Smash implies that this Robin and Chrom are pretty high up with their supports. :v:

So the consensus I see is that it was a choice between Robin and Chrom, not Robin, Chrom, and Lucina. I gotta say, I agree with that idea- it's not like much time and effort went into the creation of Lucina, anyway. I asked this now because the person I know who wanted Chrom playable is [I]still[/I] bitching about it, and it took me until now to think, "Huh...why did they do that?" Now I can go back to ignoring him.
