He can be weird and still have his Wario Land feel. Project M pulled it off nicely.
Keep most of his current moves, change a few of them to have larger hitboxes, give him non-choppy walk and run animations. Update his Dsmash, Fsmash, shoulder bash as SideB instead of the bike, give UpB more control, give him ground pound as Dair.
They'd pretty much be done. His current moveset suffers from having way too much downtime or way too little range; really, who wants to do Wario'd down smash so they can be immobilized for a full second if they whiff? It's not even that powerful of a move. Wario Bike's utility in recovery means it's rarely going to be used on the battlefield or the user risks losing a lot of recovery potential. His forward smash is super low range, you're better off just grabbing someone and throwing them.
and I wish they'd make Wario similar to how he was in Project M. I still do fairly well as Wario in vanilla Brawl just by abusing the bite attack and his aerials.
If Waluigi is in the new one I will be very happy, I play him in Mario Tennis, Party and Kart
Just his voice is so great, "Waluigi! wins!"
I consider Waluigi the star of Strikers because he was so OP.
I only use Olimar in Brawl because of how much he can destroy
I wish they would change Samus' Final Smash for something less annoying. I want to keep my power armor after it, since Zero Suit plays so differently (arguably, she is an okay character in it, but playstyles are dramatically different).

Perhaps holding down the B button would release a longer beam, but make the suit break? Whereas not holding it down would simply fire the beam normally and preserve the suit.

Well the reveal trailer showed you can tilt the beam, so maybe we can expect more changes.

You could always tilt the beam?
Just ditch the Zero Suit entirely, Samus was better off staying in her armor anyway.
I really liked using Samus but dislike Zero Suit Samus. I'd prefer her to just stay in the armor.
With her using her Other M design, I highly doubt they'd ditch Zero Suit Samus :v:
I hate how Zero Suit Samus had way more impact to her attacks than regular Samus.

and how ZSS was better at recovery than Armored Samus, like what the fuck.

But normal Samus is like, Sonic level terrible.

In Brawl, yeah.
In Brawl, yeah.
Until we know different we have to assume that the characters won't change from Brawl or else we might as well not form opinions on who should stay/go.

They already confirmed that characters will be balanced via patching, so I assume there will be some tweaking.

Allow me to rephrase and say until we know what those tweaks are.
But normal Samus is like, Sonic level terrible.
as keychain said, in brawl yeah she's terrible. Bring back Melee Samus in terms of power and controlability, and then never mention the Zero Suit again.

You're forgetting the most important part of ZSS, dat ass. No seriously though, I really like ZSS and would be sad to see her go, for me no other character feels that good to play.

Make it separate then, I hate that we had a long-time running smash veteran utterly crippled for the sake of a character that borderlines on fan service.
Get rid of ZSS? Wat. A fully unique in playstyle character shouldn't be removed just like that, but I'd agree on removing the forced change after Samus' Final Smash.
Samus being terrible in Brawl has also had what to do with ZSS existing?
I'd prefer a allowing a controllable way on changing back and forth like Zelda/Shiek but without losing the Down-B moves or such.
I know Brawl had the alternating taunt method for a 1 way change but that's hardly feasible in input compared to a instant Down-B.
On regards to ZSS, I'd like to share this video. Skip to 43:05 Maybe. It's pretty intense. :v:

Anybody else just really love Sheik? I think Sheik's moveset is perfect in all regards of gameplay for me.

Speaking of Shiek, I really hope if they add Toon Zelda in for SSB4, (She was unfinished on the disk on Brawl), that she transforms into Tetra instead of a cel shaded Shiek.
Couldn't personally ever stick to one character... it gets pretty stale to me somewhat fast.
May as well say RANDOM is my main character in Brawl. As all the character attacks are pretty easy to remember due to everyone's inputs being the same so you learn fast by playing that character (obviously) or when just simply facing others. At that point when you know every single move for the character your controlling it's pretty hard to "screw up" even if you don't usually play them.
I like Smash Bros for that, unlike "traditional" fighting games where you usually have to learn personalised button inputs for combos and knowing what follows up into what and etc for the sole character you are playing all before hand before you even think about fighting anyone.

i hope they don't just make tetra a clone if they do that, she has potential to be a unique character

I'am the same way, can't stick to one character for multiple fights. Although I do have an affinity to play Captain Falcon and Kirby more often but most of the time I play everyone.
I always play Yoshi, even though he's not exceptionally good
I just like playing the characters I like as characters and not how useful they are
I remember in melee I loved samus and then in brawl she felt weird and different so I stopped using her.
captain falcon all day

ok that last set was pretty fucking awesome

Also I didn't know the Smash Bros competitive scene matured so much, the "friendly lan party" era was funny for a while but seeing a serious SSB tournament like this was pretty nice, I hope they stay this way.
