Finished it. I guess it was pretty cool for a demo. Can't wait for multiplayer release.
Why is it when I launch this game it launches with the steam overlay? I'm not even running it through steam
Screenshots save in a Category with no name

Oh I see, the UDK has a link to steam. You can run it without Steam running, but if you run it with steam running it uses the overlay

... This better be a good game.
I used the torrent, was getting 3.5 MB/s
Just played through a bit of it, it's awesome
Uh....that was pretty awful.
Poor animations (my initial thought was "why is everyone limping?")
Atrocious voice acting. Seriously, I wanted to die listening to it.
Nonexistent AI - enemies run towards you, then stand still and shoot until you kill them. They don't attempt to evade, take cover, or do much at all really. Enemy vehicles will drive right up to your vehicle and try to shoot from point blank range.
Badly-scripted missions - blow up these two turrets with C4. But not this one, that one's being saved for the end of the mission, even though it's the first one you encounter. What?
Forcing the player to stand, immovable while an in-engine cutscene plays.
Very little "feel" to the weapons.
There's probably more, but I had to stop playing.
365 seeders and yet only downloads at 35KB/s.

Actually it isn't suppose to be first one you encounter, at the beach landing you're suppose to go left, not right, it confused me as well, but if look at your objective marker you're suppose to go left.
Played it a bit, and every single issue is summed up in one question: "Why a single player campaign?"
If you are a small dev team developing a game that not long ago was just a mod, why give the game a campaign with voice acting, cutscenes and a lot of scripting?
That and weapons and explosions have very little feel to them (especially the explosions).

It's just a single-player demo they made to give something while waiting for the full multiplayer game.

This was interesting to listen to, seems they have learned alot from Black Dawn and have alot planned for multiplayer.

can a mod delete this post i lost all enthusiasm after reading past OP
Is there a big following? I'd like to be able to play this and have people to play with.
Fucking yes. At last. I played Renegade X a lot as a kid. They nailed the gameplay. It is just like the original if you ask me and at the same time better.
wow, it looks a lot better than it did last year

There was a massive following at one point, but with less updates people had forgotten about it. I imagine that with a release date, people will speak of this again.

I really dislike the art direction. Feels way to... extreme and shiny. It looks like it was made with the unreal engine is what I guess I'm saying which it is... but Command and Conquer just shouldn't look like that.

I like it, what do you think it should look like?
