She has less health overall now, and her abilities are now almost needed to combo with each other, so your mileage may vary.
I don't like when abilities need to combo to work only because it'l costs energy to use them. Like with Equinox it doesn't feel that great when I use two abilities and then switch stance to use another one or two for example, while the result is awesome my energy goes to 0 really quick

That's weird because with just an ack&brunt with low duration/high strength build, even level 80 corrupted is easy. All I did was do the molt + spore combo to infect the initial group, miasma which wiped all the smaller mobs, then just pressed 3 and melee'd the heavy gunners and bombards to death.
Edit: I'm not saying she's strong because I agree that her powers don't do a lot of damage, but to say they do "literally no damage" and her powers are "basically nothing" is kinda pushing it.

I'm indifferent about the rework but I wonder why they gave her melee abilities with her hp nerfed.
Surely they won't release the Saryn prime with way better hp?

I haven't played her myself. But I HAVE played with her in a squad, and every single time it was a nuker, meaning everyone else just walked around while the Saryn cleared the map.
The problem now is that Saryn doesn't have a role since every other warframe\gun does it better with less button presses.

there is no strategy to saryn now, everything works.
1>2>3>4 = good
1>3>2>4 = good
2>1>3>4 = good
2>3>1>4 = good
3>1>2>4 = good
3>2>1>4 = good
and she was never intended to be a nuke frame, she was intended to be a damage-over-time frame.
this was her second rework, the first being a massive nerf to spores (venom) which [I]removed[/I] her DoT capabilities almost entirely. then massive stat creep happened and she became mostly dead weight that people dumped all their mods into 1 ability (very bad (pls rework nekros next)).
i'd rather have a frame with 4 mostly good abilities than only 1 map nuke. that's fucking boring.
I can see that people aren't happy that their 4-button got scattered into a bunch of pieces. 3 button rotation too hard.
Crassness aside, I am really enjoying the Saryn changed. She feels so much more interactive and her powers all have their uses now. She can now do different builds focusing on melee or spreading debuffs, no more "max range, max damage, no duration, final destination".
Before, she was just boring, glorified "I win" button; now she's really interesting and I really dig her style (and new skin, whoa mama)
Excalibur is actually the best example. They scrapped one power and replace it with something that connects all other powers together making Excalibur even more stronger.
Saryn powers got re-balanced... maybe for good, but It still doesn't make her interesting frame.
I used Saryn for Extermination only. Bleh. With new trick I'll go Excalibur or Loki
There was no old combination, not even before first rework. A DoT frame is finally able to do DoT, isn't that better than not being able to do DoT with a DoT frame?
