This game is fun, but the lore and mechanics are kind of confusing. It feels like I've been thrown in somewhat (I'm still on Earth right now, only had a few hours' gameplay so far). Does it get easier to understand as you go along or will I need to look things up?

Are you launching it through Steam? If so, try going into the Warframe folder, there should be a folder called "Tools" and it should have, among other things, "LauncherCEF.exe." Mine just doesn't launch when I hit play in Steam anymore and I have to use that. It [I]should[/I] work, but there is a chance you may not have a LauncherCEF.exe for some reason, I've told other friends about it and not all of them have it.
Assuming you do have a LauncherCEF, it may need to verify the game's files before it'll let you play and it won't automatically show whatever new frame is on the normal launcher. It also just says "WARFRAME: Update Text" instead of the current version's name, but that's pretty inconsequential.
Yeah, LauncherCEF does nothing either. I found out how to fix it though. I have to launch my FPSLimiter program beforehand. :/

I installed the game manually through their site, and it worked.
And then it just stopped working again. This is a fucking joke. Is this really my computer or is the client just so fucking bad that I can't launch anything?

Yeah, it's getting really annoying, it has also made my pc crash 2 or 3 times.
On other news, I got the scindo prime blade, (which is the rarest part) while looking for ducat fodder and now I can't seem to get the bp and it's a t1 ext drop :v: is the handle kinda hard to get too? I've heard it's uncommon but not horribly rare.

Also it seems the scindo prime can't use the manticore skin, I hope they change that like they did with glaive prime (or any glaive-like weapon) and the proto-glaive skin.
Scindo prime WAS able to use manticore skin before, then DE changed it.
Darn, why would they do that? It looks really cool and the stats are pretty balanced.

i couldnt get any more because i had already gotten a sanctuary scan today.
probably got more than 20k in that mission.
It's an AAABN (almost-above-average-but-not, I just invented this term!) weapon. It looks pretty cool, but it's outclassed by the boltor prime and doesn't perform very well lategame. Depends if you want the extra mastery or it's fancy looks. You can also sell it for 30-35 plat right now, probably a bit more later on. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that thinks proto-excal is lame.
And then I realize I probably am.
Prisma Tetra's only worth getting if you want it for collecting or XP. It's not a very good weapon even if you forma it. Bolter P does it all better.
