Just look into the tree, it gets better, you are now AOE invinsibility too.
Well JoJo's is 100% straight with itself and the whole show is about being goofy, the [sp]SUPER KID[/sp] looks stupid outside of the fact that it's completely out of tone for the setting. It also looks really, really stupid.

I don't really want to consider what kind of Grineer base party leads to a line of butcher corpses in a corridor...
Anyone who has been paying attention or been listening to me when I've posted about the lore should have seen this coming many miles away. There isn't any significant surprise, nothing out of left field, if you've done that. I mean, this is basically exactly how I'd said things would be. Really the biggest surprises will be about the moon, not the rest of the quest.
Surprise or not, it changes everything and kind of ruins the lore and perceptions in the long term. People will not look back and say, "Boy that sure was awesome when we found out [sp]that kids are running the solar system with mind powers[/sp] and [sp]the warframes that have overtly sexual design patterns are now inhabiting a game with children as a major feature.[/sp]
They simply saw what everyone was theorizing about and sought to subvert them all completely.
[sp]Would it have really been that hard to have them be adults? or is that just too trite for the game that releases faction reskins of weapons every month.[/sp]

From someone who isn't anywhere near far enough in the game to actually do the mission: [sp]Kids are good for shock value, it's like Ender's Game with more horrific space cancer people. Plus, it was already hinted at, though I don't think this is where they were originally going with Ember Prime's codex.[/sp]

Whereas modern, up to date lore showed literally exactly what was going to happen.
And seriously half of those complaints are so weird. Complaining about releasing faction reskins of weapons every month (I must have missed where this was happening since its been a while since the factions aren't completely flooded with reskinned weapons) or overtly sexual designs for the Warframes. Both of which pretty much entirely irrelevant to the lore from the update.
Story or not, my main beef is the gameplay, where [sp]your Warframe gets abandoned in favor of a teleporting (apparently) floating space kid who flies around in a single animation shooting nipple beams everywhere. Supercharging your Warfame would have looked cooler and had the same general effect on the lore, but I guess it'd have required more work than rigging a single model with an entry/leave animation for every Warframe.[/sp]

Not to mention Teshin somehow survived, and seemingly from what he says he never even went in to stasis, so it seems the Orokin are basically immortal.[/sp]

Maybe me and Coverop are the only ones who care about this, but suddenly ( and yes it is sudden, despite what simaris's little poems would lead you to speculate ) deciding that you are [sp]Magic children[/sp] does nothing more than ruin the mystery in the silliest way possible. Ive killed tens of thousands of people in this solar system and suddenly the clocks roll back? Its dissonant. They frame this [sp]kid[/sp] as naive, yet most players will have done crazy things by this point. They give the character no attachment to this world and they stick out like a sore thumb. And thats pretty hard in a game full of colorful characters that warframe has.
Its completely obvious the direction they are going towards is to have a shitstack of cosmetics for them despite showing up for no more than ten seconds at a time. Maybe my expectations from the game are too high? I just expected my game about space ninjas to be less of an overt power fantasy. Bot to mention it makes you literally invincible so they are going to be everywhere before long.
My only question is why defend it? I have more reason than anyone to defend the dev's decisions what with all the money I have funneled into the game.
I'm blown away by how nice the new tileset and the new Void look.

Still I liked idea of deformed space cancer.
Is it safe to assume that [sp] Tenno , Warframe is build on human and later It went through some experiment/void ?[/sp]
Is it safe to assume that [sp] Tenno , Warframe is build on human and later It went through some experiment/void ?[/sp]
No. [sp]The Warframes were originally built independent of the Zariman children. Remember Rhino Prime's lore, where the scientist responsible for his creation didn't even know the Zariman children/Tenno existed. The Warframes were clearly supposed to be the most advanced proxies the Orokin made, like how the Moa are rediscovered Orokin proxies and Zanuka is a proxy built from torn down Warframes. But the Warframes, being built from Technocyte virus, reacted like any other infested and just started killing. The Zariman children/Tenno were able to pacify and control them somehow. It's possible the transference work was already done/underway by that point, or whatever her name is may have gotten the idea after the Rhino Prime incident.[/sp]

Okay, you guys neglected to mention that you MUST complete the new quest in order to use lenses. Since I got mine from the Sortie mission I was extremely confused. I hadn't even been bothering with quests until now, so I had to do some catching up. Thank you guys for trying to help me, though. :v:
So the iPhone app is out, Android sometime today.

Considering it takes DE years to update/change systems in any meaningful way that's not really an argument, since we'd never really see a change to it until 2017 at the earliest. :v:

Go go, Chroma ranger?
Does the second dream cinematic work for anyone? I ended up starting the mission without seeing it because clicking the button does nothing.
Yes, I have updated and I have restarted the game. The button does nothing.
I'm willing to pay 1000 plat [sp]to make my shit kid grow up[/sp]
Seriously it's U18: The Mixed Feelings

"cool"
"The Corpus are actually the Orokin"
"Wow awesome"
"You're a shit child"
"..."[/sp]
Like yeah it makes sense lore-wise and when you read the codex entries, but [sp]I expected those kids to be grown up by now[/sp]
If Vor can be a high frequency being why can't I?
[sp] Personally I have no problem playing as a kid. [/sp]
[sp]I'm kinda pisses me off that Focus gained is reset if you have to revive, just spent 15mins in a survival just to die at the end, and getting a measly 33 Focus for my troubles[/sp]

Fixed that for you
Personally I think [sp]having the Warframes be essentially telepathically-piloted meat suits[/sp] is a very interesting way to go about it (that's how I interpreted it anyway, that might be wrong). That means [sp]there's probably still some horribly mutated flesh under the suit, and there's now a lore reason for Ordis to have multiple frames aboard the Liset[/sp]. I feel like they've been hinting at something like this for a while, and I'm actually 100% okay with how it turned out. At the very least it means [sp]Nova isn't an anime girl under that helmet[/sp].

My hopes and dreams, crushed.
[editline]4th December 2015[/editline]
[sp]Although more crushing is that Rhino isn't actually an absurdly buff dude under the suit.[/sp]

[sp]Yeah, but now you can make an anime Tenno girl as you want her to be.[/sp]
Something tells me that the people that dislike the [sp]Kid Thing[/sp] are either waifufags or closet ones.
Then again, maybe I'm just looking a bit too deep into this.
