I just wish the [sp]focus[/sp] abilities didn't look so dumb. [sp]Made my kid look like DMC Donte because fuck you.[/sp]
lso fuck sorties, you can get the same reward twice, 2 dera vandal bps just sitting there, cant wait for another tomorrow!
Oh crap, what happened about that "If you get this part from a set, the next time it will give you the other parts" to reduce the RNG and grinding? I remember hearing this in one of the DevStreams.
Also [sp]The Lotus is fucking stacked.[/sp]
[sp]why is everyone calling the operator a kid? they're at least a young adult and at most in their mid-20's facial features wise, dunno why a superadvanced race wouldn't want to look young as fuck all the time[/sp]
I'd think [sp]the Tenno are probably at least 40s/50s/middle-aged by our modern standards[/sp]. Remember how Darvo is [sp]actually over a hundred and is still considered young and inexperienced[/sp]? That, combined with [sp]how Teshin apparently just stayed awake the whole time[/sp], definitely points to them being actually pretty old and just not looking it.
Consider following, preservation.
Also moon has fancy mods, neat fancy exilus mods.
[sp] At least we can all make kid jokes now instead of lotus ones [/sp]

[sp] Anyone notice how your Warframe snapped the sword without the aid of the kid? Maybe they can think for themselves after all, but it's sorta like a symbiotic relationship. [/sp]
So uh, how do I trigger the Natah quest considering I have to do it to be able to do Second Dream?
I haven't played in a while and wanted to check it out.

I'd think it's kinda like the Titans in Titanfall, or Iron Man's suits, in that [sp]they have a very limited capacity for independent action and will act in their best interest if pressed to do so, but cannot fully function without direct pilot operation[/sp].
Alternately, [sp]the Tenno thought to himself/herself, "Maybe that sword is how the Sentient is directing this guy. Frame, please, break it before he crushes my windpipe."[/sp]

Head to uranus. Do any mission that's submersible or keeps you on the ship. Catch the Unknown with your pokescanner and Lotus'll handle the rest.

You'll know it's there when you start seeing the trainers it's already beaten lying on the floor

Play any Uranus mission which takes places in the unique tileset (The underwater one), bring a codex scanner, if you are lucky partway through the mission weird floaty things called Oculysts will spawn, scan 'em and your set
the rhino skin looks 10x better than i thought it would i look fuckin kickass
One problem I have with Focus is how long it will take to upgrade it. I did full run of exp farm and got about 1200 Focus Points.

Seems to me it's based purely on your weapon/frame's independently earned exp.
My buddy tagged along as Support Trin as I Rhino'd it up and he barely killed anything.
He got, like, 3 focus points lmao

yeah I got 1200 from using only Telos Akbolto and nothing else, I was Nekros as well and I didn't kill anyone with Soul Punch and only used Shadows of the Dead once.
[sp]the operator says "we" sometimes at the start of a mission or somewhere, so it's likely warframes have some sense of consciousness[/sp]
[sp]Based off the Rhino Prime info entry I think that Warframes run on instinct or something without an Operator, perhaps similar to Infested since both originate from the virus. Though one thing that bothers me is how with the reveal of the operators it takes away a bit from the danger aspect of missions. After all they are just puppets of meat and metal and Im cozy back on the ship, hope they address that in the future.[/sp]

Even if [sp]Warframes are just meat puppets, they still cost A LOT to make so there's still stakes to losing them[/sp]
Its a Wastonian-Doylian situation. In universe, a Warframe going down is just the end of it. But since Warframe is not a rogue-like, that doesn't happen. Seriously, could you imagine how awful the game would be if you had build a new Warframe every time you died?
Okay, the cutscenes were fucking awesome.
I'll need the track playing when [sp]finding the pods[/sp] ASAP.

i got so many chills from that
I hope DE will consider an option to "hide" Operator. It kinda ruins my immersion and experience.
The biggest thing that I don't like about the new quest is that it shows how much DE is trying to cater to the vast majority of veteran players rather than the minority of new players that are going to enter the game and see [sp]all these little flying children shooting lasers out of their nipples[/sp], as well as all this stuff that they can't do without unlocking over half the star chart.
I liked the quest, and it was amazing not having generic "defend/survive against the corpus/grineer while exposition man saves the day" and [sp]fffffffffuck the stalker[/sp] but I feel that everything that happens afterward could have been executed much better.

yeah, does that change anything?

[sp]Now Im imaging the Operator explaining to Lotus and Tenshin how they got space drunk and crashed Rhino into the Golem or something lol[/sp]

I think you can, there's an option under audio to toggle "operator voice".
Haven't used it but I'm pretty sure it does what you're asking.

Well sorry new players but high MR players/ Vets play the game as well and with not a huge amount to do in the endgame the update seems to address that somewhat.
And the quest isn't super hard to get if you look it up
- Get to MR 2.
- Do Archwing quest.
- Go to Uranus (I'd admit this could take awhile, but you could be taxi'd there.)
- Play Uranus nodes until you get the Natah quest. (Also could take awhile, but a newbie can't handle it then Warframe isn't likely the game for them tbh).
- Do quest.
- Get second dream.
- Bam you're done!
In fact if anything this improves the new player experience, gives them a nice set of goals to accomplish, a clear progression path (second dream acts as pay off). The game doesn't really have anything like that, you tend to be doing a lot of disconnected tasks (complete the star chart, doing void stuff, quests, doing syndicates, etc). If you go for second dream from the get go, you get to sample a lot of different elements of the game.
Pretty cool now that I think about it.
