If you mean like the elements you put on your weapons, for void missions it's usually Corrosive + Cold or Blast unless running with 4 Corrosive Projections, then you build Viral + Heat or Radiation. For Grineer it's Radiation + Toxin or Viral, and then Corpus is Magnetic + Toxin.
War is so long that when you craft it it clips through the ship.

Hey everyone, just a public service announcement to let you know that Ivara is insanely overpowered in higher end missions with the right loadout.
What am I babbling about you ask? Well, combine Prowl (or whatever her invisibility ability is called) and Covert Lethality for instant stealth kills. What's that? Loki and Ash can do the same thing and move full speed too? Not on full alert, but neither can Ivara right?
Well say you sleep an enemy with your Sleep Arrow; they are now able to be finished regardless of alert status. Spend 25 or less energy and you can 1 shot as many ANY level enemies that fit in its radius. I mean, Equinox, Valkyr and Ash can do the same, but Equinox can't go invisible, Valkyr can only finish one before others come off stun and Ash can only get one at a time and he has to teleport on them.
tl;dr Ivara + Covert Lethality is fun.
Ivara is seriously some of the most fun I have had, and I adore her design as well. Zephyr and Ivara for life.
Oh, another fun factoid is if you are surrounded and low on energy as Ivara, but have Energy Restore gear, you cannot gain energy while Prowling.
Instead use Stealth Arrow. You stay invisible AND still get energy.

Hot damn, being spoiler-free for this quest was amazing. After having so much spoiled for me about other games made this a welcome shock.

Our Frost DC'd in that mission so it was just me and a Nova for the last like 5 waves. It was hell on earth, but I got almost 40k Focus from it because I was Mag, so that was cool.

Wish they would reduce def down to 10 waves, 20 is just tedious as hell.
The hardest part of 20 wave defense is staying awake
idk, the defense sortie was really easy with a frost and nova
